Just wanted to say I managed to recreate this build ad it works wonders for me. There were some changes though, I got a Rapid Fire 2, Pierce Up 1 3-2-1 talisman so I used that and replaced the Pierce 3 Deck with a Rapid Fire 3 Deco. Also, while augmenting the head, I got Mail of Hellfire and a level 1 slot so I moved the Quickload 1 Deck from the two slot to it. Then, because I'm not as good a player as many people I see on UA-cam, I used the leftover slot to replace Sneak Attack 2 with Defense Boost 7 to offset the defence loss from Mail of Hellfire.

Thanks for the reply. Although there still are some things I want to change. On the legs, I got Maximum Might and a one slot but lost Heaven Sent. So I plan to augment it until I get a two slot skill already in the build and a one slot but keep Heaven Sent. In addition, I'll see if I can get a Rapid Fire Up 3 3-1-1 talisman plus a skill like Intrepid Heart to bring it closer to yours.
Wonderful build! Insane offensive stats with just the right number of handpicked defensive skills that make it an absolute joy to play. Thank you so much, Nox! One piece of feedback is that the absence of weapon name in the video itself combined with the build name was incredibly confusing for me. I was trying to google for a "Bullet Rain X" weapon before I even knew what Primodrial Malzeno was. It would have been very helpful for me if it was clearly stated that the weapon used is exactly Silver Shooter.

The whole weapon name thing has been kind of a funny topic since the beginning of MHR :D I originaly used to display the weapon name in older Videos, untill quite a few people pointed out that knowing the weapon name, actually doesnt do much for us in the game itself. Since we cant search, or filter by name & the names also change based on the upgrade Lv/path of the Weapon. Whereas knowing wich Monster the Weapon is from/wich weapon tree, makes it way easier to find, or know if you have access to it already. Wich is why i switched to pointing out wich Monster/Tree the Weapon is from, at the begining of every Build (like in this Video). For the sake of consistency i kept it like this for the Sunbreak Content. Decidet a long time ago that when MH Wilds rolls around, i will just do both - Display the name, aswell as specifiy wich Monster/Tree it's from😄👍🏽 Thanks for taking the time to drop your feedback, I realy appreciate it! ^_^ Happy hunting! 🎉
Nice vid Yokai, A few weeks ago I made almost the same build, only I additionaly have sneak attack on lvl3, intrepid heart lvl2, powder mantle lvl2 and defiance lvl3. Pretty nasty RF Pierce 2 I must say ;) Don`t forget to mention to set switch skill to critical firepower!
Thats awesome! You must have a realy good Talisman or Augments if you managed to fit all those extras into the Build! 👌🏽 Or are you running the alternative version with Risen Shagaru Waist ? (That offers up more Slots then ofc^^) Indeed, i should mention CF in a note on future LBG Builds.
Would love to see a guide on elemental light bowgun! I have been trying to craft a set myself, and augment it, but i cant seem to work it out. Elemental bowguns interest me but its so hard to know how much recoil and reload management you need, what damage skills you can have, berserk or dereliction! Love the vids

Did you make sure to check the Augment Section, to see if you didnt miss a Slot upgrade somewhere ? Because nobody else had this issue 😄There are definitely enough slots.

Nox @2:15 you get hit then start rapidly gaining health back as you are hitting the monster - how do you do that? I dont think your Kush Blessing is high enough and cannot see what other skill lets you do that
Lol you literally answered your own question 😄I took a physical Hit from the Monster. Any physical hit from a anomaly afflicted monster will give you Bloodblight (you can see the red glow affect from it around my character in the video aswell). When you have Bloodblight every attack you land on the Monster will heal you. That's the cool thing about having Intrepid Heart on LBG Builds. You can basically take a physical hit on purpose if you want to keep attacking and dont have to worry about it, since you're gonna heal back up in a matter of seconds anyway.
Hi Nox! I made my own version of this build and I've gotten a chance to get Tune up 2 all the while getting all the attack and gun skills needed in this build. Just want to ask if is it worth sacrificing the reload speed from your fastest to just fast when I equip the power barrel with Tune up 2? The only thing I sacrifice for the build is 1 level of evade extender. Thank you!
Hi there! 🖐🏽That sounds very solid. In terms of DPS it's not worth sacrificing the fastest reload. It can make quite the difference over the course of a hunt. However, the Build is so strong that you will still be able to comfertably get very good clear times when using fast, insted of fastest👍🏽

Am I a madman for using only reload speed+1? I slot augmented all my stuff and prefer more damage to reload speed and it’s not really that bad. I like watching the animation and it makes me feel cool lol
Only skill I'm missing is Mail of Hellfire. I have the exact same build (no MoH) with Power Barrel and Resentment (Rank 1) which is active a lot because of Bloodlust. But my RFP2 hit deal around 25-28 damage. Is the difference between me and you just MoH? It's so freaking hard to get from Augments!
If you're only missing MoH your damage output should be pretty close to mine (within a 1-3 difference range depending on what you're fighting). Are you using the Critical Firepower Switch Skill ? That will add a bit more damage aswell.

the non augmented version is missing plus 4 attack boost and the build deco only says 1 plus 4 im missing 3 attack boost did some armor set got nerfed?
The Non-Augmented Set isnt actually missing the 2nd +4 ATK Boost Deco. It just somehow got messed up in the Overlay 😄I adressed this in a post a while back. The Deco is in the Set regardless :). It's strange that you are missing 3 ATK Boost though, because the Arms (Virtue Braces) have +3 & then the 2x ATK Boost Decos will give another +2 each. So you should only be missing 2, unless you are using a normal ATK Boost 2 Deco (wich gives ATK Boost +1).

Hey, sorry for the reply being a few days late. Was out of town for a bit^^ Glad you already got some help from the community here 👍🏽 (Kush Blessing can always be removed on Raw LBG/HBG Builds. It wont hurt the damage at all)
getting back into sunbreak, MR 20. This is all greek to me. Tier 10 weapons are just 3 question marks. How do I even unlock these? What are Risen version of armors? Where do you get it?
I'd recommend not realy looking into Endgame Builds at that point yet then (unless you dont mind spoliers). You'll unlock Tier 10 Weapons by progressing further into Endgame and the anomaly system.
If survival is the issue at the moment, I highly recommend going for 1x Lv of Guts! It basically gives you the same effect as Moxie & it refreshes if you do faint. You can also increase Intrepid Heart to Lv 2 if you like. When dropping Mail of Hellfire & augmenting for something else, you can basically choose any Lv 2 Skill from the Deco List. For Offense, upgrading Sneak Attack to Lv 3 has good value! For survivability, Guts, as mentioned before, is fantastic! Another survivability Tip, would be replacing Sneak Attack completely and using Divine Blessing insted. Here's the thing about Mail of Hellfire though: Having -50 or -100 Defense due to MoH, hardly makes any difference at all in the Endgame! 😂
Thanks for the advice! I ended up dropping Mail of Hellfire and managed to push Burst, Sneak Attack and Evade Extender all to rank three. That little bit of extra defence and manoeuvrability has really helped out, and the extra ranks for Burst and Sneak attack helped offset a little of the damage output I lost from Mail of Hellfire.
I'm on PS5 and haven't played the game since Rise launched on it (I think with TU3). I left off using the Duke's Arquebus, and kind of need to get my bearings again after being gone for so long. What gun/build would you currently recommend for someone doing early anomaly quests?
That's a bit tricky to answer without knowing wich shot type you want to specialize in :D But as general recommendation it would definitely be the Choatic Gore or regular Malzeno LBG. Hey there 👋Mail of Hellfire is a passive Skill. So you actually dont have to do anything at all 😄If it's on your Build, it's automatically active & you get the Attack increase.
Right now the request for it seems very low. But i'll add it to a poll soon to see if more people are interested in it now :) If so, they're will definitely be a Video! ^_^
The inly 2 Switch Skills that are pretty much always recommendet now are regualr Reload & Wyvern Counter. Everything else is up to your personal playstyle & preference. Critical Firepower is great aswell, but depends on if you are comfertable with using it.
Spread is close range buckshot, and pierce goes completely through the monster dealing damage to every part hit. Not sure how to explain Rapid. With Rapid Pierce Ammo you shoot in a 3 round burst. I haven’t used Spread but I’m assuming its increased fire rate like an AA-10
Followed your setup and have the exact attack buffs skills but i'm only hitting 24 - 25 damage at lvl 245 risen crimson valstrax. Have the same food setup but only consumed might seed + mega demon drug.. do i miss anything? Thanks for this guide! Are you perhaps looking for a early Sunbreak Pierce LBG Build/Weapon choice ? In that case i would say just go with the Nargacuga LBG. And if you dont have access to it yet, the upgradet Izuchi LBG will be sufficient untill then. But if you are in late/Endgame, I'll be completely honest: Dont do it! 😅 There is literally no reason to run Pierce Lv 1 Ammo, insted of Lv 2 in late/endgame. You will be loosing alooot of damage by going with Pierce Lv 1! There's not even a good weapon choice for it in late/endgame 😄
@@YokaiNox Yeah, I wanted it for end game. Mainly because I don't wanna have to keep crafting Pierce LV 2 mid hunt when I can just grab a bunch of latch berries to restock. But if there's no good weapon for it. Oh well. I saw that the Barioth LBG had full slots for decorations, but it's LV 1 Pierce is auto reload and thus relegated to only 1 shot before having to reload. Which lowers DPS immensely. Thanks for you're help though
@@oucyanNo problem, any time! Recrafting is waaaay faster than grabbing berries!😄 Just put Pierce Lv 2 on your itemwheel & set it to "craft all". You will have a full 60 bullets again in less than 1 second. And it's also incredibly cheap to recraft P2! You will literally never run out of P2 due to how many bullets you get from recrafting 😊👍
It will depend on the Gun you're using. For the Primoridal Malzeno LBG it's definitely Reload Speed Lv 3. Unless you have some kind of strange glitch going on, where the Gun is giving you the fastest possible reload at Lv 2 😄 It has happened to players in the past, so it's not unheard off.
Definitely not. Mind's Eye is essentialy useless on Guns & Agitator has lost alot of it's value now. Anomaly afflicted Monsters stay exhausted super long when you break the affliction. So Agitator wont be active much over the course of a hunt. It's only good against normal Monsters that have no affliction & also no Risen Elders.
@@Abdul45671 It's adressed in the Video. Ballistics is a purely personal choice. If you feel like you need more range, you can add it. Otherwise there is literally no reason to use it. Pierce already allows you to be decently far away from the Monster. It's much more usefull on Spread Builds, where you actually get a large benefit from some extra Distance.
Yeah definitely dont sacrifice anything to push it to Lv 3 on a Raw Build! Lv 1 is more than enough if you decide to use it. Otherwise, dropping the skill entirely is absolutely fine on Raw Builds aswell.
You'll have to put some of the Lv 1 Decos into Lv 2 Slots. It's the strange curse of Endgame 😄We're missing Lv 1 Slots on alot of Pieces now, so we have to use Lv 2 Slots for those Decos sometimes 😄
So, maybe someone here can help me with this. I cannot find the "Bullet Rain X" to build it. I have the "Bullet Rain (Viper) +" which builds into the "Bullet Storm (Viper)" but that's for spread ammo, not rapid pierce, and cannot find the bullet storm x anywhere. Just to help answer some questions, yes I have sun break, yes I've beaten the story and sunbreak's story, and I've been working on both MR quests and Afflicted hunts. Idk if I am missing something, but my highest current weapon tier is rarity 10. If I just need to keep grinding to unlock it, that's cool, but if there's something else I'm missing ease point me in the right direction. ^^
Why is agitator never in those build in Rise? Wouldn't agitator be a much comfortable , safer and easy build? I am new to Rise and i see a lot of videos but somehow agitator is non existent in the builds.
Sorry bout the delayed reply, was on holliday. Agitator is in alot of early Builds for Rise & early Sunbreak. But later in the game the Skill looses alot of value, due to how the endgame Monsters behave & certain mechanics. Afflicted Monsters (wich is going to be ~90% of the Late/Endgame) have a mechanic were you need to break them out of the afflicted state (like a super rage). And when you break them out of that state, they will be exhausted for a very long time! So during that time Agitator becomes completely useless, since the skill only activates when the moster is enraged. This is why Agitator isnt used in late/endgame Builds. It just gets outperformed by other skills.
Can someone explain what ammo up does. I tried without it and with it and didnt notice a difference in battle. My ammo count was still 60 max on pierce 2
Ammo Up doesnt increase the amount of ammo you can carry. It increases the Clip Size of the Shot Type. So for example you can have 7 Shots per Clip insted of the standart 5.
You can, but for some of the stuff you will have to have someone that can host the necesarry Quest for you then. Alternatively: The Pierce LBG Build from the previous LBG Video can be made earlier & is very strong aswell!
@@n8than26 This is the final Build. You can get higher damage numbers by using the Chaotic Gore LBG and altering the Skills slightly. But Primordial Malzeno LBG still ends up being better now because the Ammo Clip is so huge.
Definitely ! You should have no problem fitting in all the essential Skills with that 👍🏽 (You might have to use one of the Lv 4 Slots for the final Lv of Rapid Fire then though. If so, just drop the big Evade Extender Deco. You can then take out the Coalesence Deco & put a Evade Extender Deco in that Slot insted)
@@User1273- MoH Lv 2 is absolutely fine! ^_^ You wont loose much damage. As mentioned in the Video, you can go for as many Levels of MoH as you're comfertable with. 3x is the end goad if you wanna go all out with damage, but aslong as you have 1 Level, you already have a good DPS increase. Dont worry about it.
@@brandonenke2680 it's not that bad. Cyclus melding allows you to select rapid fire up. So you need level 3, decent slots and hopefully useful secondary stat.
@@User1273- Yea I haven't reached that melding yet. Just bought Sunbreak on a sale couple days ago and haven't played in a year. But if it's anything like it was in base game then it'll be terrible. Still never got a god roll weakness exploit tali and I farm the living hell out of narwa and rolled easily over 200 talismans lol
Of course! ^_^ There are only 2 Switch Skills that i pretty much always use. Wyvern Counter & Critical Firepower. Everything else will completely depend on your own personal playstyle.
Both have their time to shine. Elemental Pierce is stronger than regular Pierce. But regular Pierce is much easier to use & has much easier Ammo managment.
I built exactly like you, but my highest dmg is 29 per one ammo. and it regulates only 22-25 dmg per ammo. how can I have high dmg like you? like video your dmg regulated with 30-37 dmg maybe even more 41 dmg. how can I do?
There are a few things you can check: - Are you using the right Rampage Deco for what you're fighting ? - Are you using the Critical Fire Power Switch Skill for more DMG ? - Damage can vary a bit depending on what you're fighting.

Not yet, but it might still get it's own Video ^_^ The thing is, they would be nearly identical to the Element HBG Builds that i just uploadet. Single fire Elemental Piercing Ammo Builds for LBG, are the exact same ones as for HBG. Only rapid Fire elemental builds would be different. And even those are nearly the same 😄 I'll make a post about it in the upcoming days though to see how the interest in the topic is 👍🏽
Pretty much have the same build but managed to puts guts on it too. It’s crazy how good guts is in higher level content with all the stuff that can one shot you. Highly recommend :)
I mention it right at the start lol And you can see it on screen the entire time aswell 😄 You can use either the Primordial Malzeno LBG (that's the one in the Video), or the regular Malzeno LBG as alternative.
@@benyankin6466 In that case you have 2. 1 - Eat for: Marksman, Booster & Moxie. 2 - Eat for: Temper, Marksman & Moxie/Booster (Temper increases deviation. So only eat for that if you can compensate for it with enough Levels of Steadiness)
Hi 🖐🏽The MR doesnt realy matter, since you can join any Hunt you cant post yourself yet if you are MR 10+. The AR needs to be at 210, to unlock Expert+4 & Attack+ 4 Decos. But you can already make the Build without those aswell and still use it.
@@norbertzdzichowski6424 You hav 2 options. For now you can use the Ceanataur Braces. They Have Crit Eye Lv 2 & Pierce Up Lv 1. You can use the Slot+ Augmenting method on them to get much better Slots by sacrificing one of the other Skills on the Braces (Grinder Ss & Marathon Runner) that arent needet here. OR: Use the Flaming Espinas Arms insted. Those can be upgradet aswell by sacrifcing Skills on them that arent needet.
@@norbertzdzichowski6424 Yup, RD Thickblood unlocks ATK+ 4 & Crit Eye+ 4. Indeed, it's 241. Seems i mixed up the numbers with a different unlock then 🤔 Pretty sure there was a way to unlock them before 241 aswell though.
It's mentioned in the Video :D You can easily add it into the Build if you want to have it for extra comfort. I personaly dont have a need for it very often now, since we have the new Wyvern Counter.
All I have is Bullet Storm (Viper) your guides are SUPER confusing, it be BETTER if you actually shown step by step on what weapon you are REALLY using, and by that I mean CRAFT it from the VERY start and show how you upgrade it to have all those SLOTS and being able to WALK while shooting with PIECE ammo, I am using the Bullet Storm (Viper) and my Character can't move aroundwhile using this ammo type, and it only has slots 2+ +1 +1 yours has +4 +4 +4. your guide makes literally no sense at all...

So, Glass Cannon elite player.... pretty sure you get 1 or 2 shots in endgame. the only defense is guts?? i prefer tankier build. thx for the effort. i kill the same monster perhaps 1-2min more than your build but i can take 3 heavy attack in a row without dying. (i'm not an elite player, casu yeah)

Surving 3 heavy attacks is awesome ofc! ^_^ Now i'm actually realy curious what you calssify as heavy attacks 🤔 Cause every Monster above Tier 6 has atleast 1 heavy attack that can 2 Shot a Melee user in Endgame ( ~ AR 250+ Quests) with Defense Boost Lv 7 lol. Sadly the only actually strong or "tanky" Defense Skills for LBG in Endgame are Intrepid Heart, Guts & eating for Moxie. Atleast when it comes to reliable safety from attacks that can 1 Shot. A more tanky/Defense focused Build, like you mentioned, sounds fun aswell though! 👌🏽 (I'm also definitely not an elite player with LBG^^ Probabbly like an 8.5/10 Skill Level wise. LBG honetly feels too powerfull in general lol Ever since World introduced the change that we can now move & shot at the same time, LBG has felt like going to a shooting-range in a way 😅Just walk around and fire lol
Build is impossible... With luck based augmentation and no guarantees at that? The number of decos are unreal too. Managed to get the Mail of Hellfire augments but man... Halfway through I thought I would get this exact build... This sure is a whole lot of disappointment. Oh well...
Impossible ? I'm more than confused.. So far you are literally the only one who has had this sort of issue with the Build. I point out that not all of the Augments are even essential to the Build & You do not need the exact same Skills. The numer of Decos is also definitely not unreal or impossible. I always appreciate any form of feedback, but calling this "a whole lot of dissapointment", just because it's not working in your particular case ? Sure you didnt miss anything in the Video ? Cause this definitely sounds like the actual issue might be somewhere else. I'd be happy to help figure out what's wrong 👍🏽 (That aside these are final form Endgame Builds. Bro your tripping, I made the budget version at first then within 2 weeks of grinding I got the augmented version no problem ofc the augments can be frustrating but imo that’s just monster Hunter it’s always been like that gotta put in some effort n pray to fatalis for some luck
@@Lelem2 The Decos ? Lol you just craft them at the Blacksmith. There is 0 RNG involved! 😂😂 I'm guessing you mean the Augments ? There are tons of Builds out there with waaay higher Augment requirements! This is actually still kind of mid range.(Also keep in mind this is a final form Endgame Build. So it ofc wont exactly be "easy" to make, or involve some form of grinding^^) I also always point out that you dont need the exact Augments i am using.
Hi there 🖐🏽 If you start with the largest Decos and work your way down in size, everything will fall into place automatically. There is no specific spot each Deco has to be in. Let me know if you still have trouble after trying that, then i'll try to list them all up for you here.

So I plan to augment it until I get a two slot skill already in the build and a one slot but keep Heaven Sent. In addition, I'll see if I can get a Rapid Fire Up 3 3-1-1 talisman plus a skill like Intrepid Heart to bring it closer to yours.
Just the red line, when youre shooting Pierce from all the crits is amazing! Im telling you pierce is the most satisfying ammo!

One piece of feedback is that the absence of weapon name in the video itself combined with the build name was incredibly confusing for me. I was trying to google for a "Bullet Rain X" weapon before I even knew what Primodrial Malzeno was. It would have been very helpful for me if it was clearly stated that the weapon used is exactly Silver Shooter.

The whole weapon name thing has been kind of a funny topic since the beginning of MHR :D
I originaly used to display the weapon name in older Videos, untill quite a few people pointed out that knowing the weapon name, actually doesnt do much for us in the game itself. Since we cant search, or filter by name & the names also change based on the upgrade Lv/path of the Weapon.
Whereas knowing wich Monster the Weapon is from/wich weapon tree, makes it way easier to find, or know if you have access to it already.
Wich is why i switched to pointing out wich Monster/Tree the Weapon is from, at the begining of every Build (like in this Video). For the sake of consistency i kept it like this for the Sunbreak Content.
Decidet a long time ago that when MH Wilds rolls around, i will just do both - Display the name, aswell as specifiy wich Monster/Tree it's from😄👍🏽

Nice vid Yokai, A few weeks ago I made almost the same build, only I additionaly have sneak attack on lvl3, intrepid heart lvl2, powder mantle lvl2 and defiance lvl3. Pretty nasty RF Pierce 2 I must say ;) Don`t forget to mention to set switch skill to critical firepower!

Would love to see a guide on elemental light bowgun! I have been trying to craft a set myself, and augment it, but i cant seem to work it out. Elemental bowguns interest me but its so hard to know how much recoil and reload management you need, what damage skills you can have, berserk or dereliction! Love the vids

followed this guide exactly but it doesn't make sense. your deco list calls for 20 deco slots total, but your build only offers 19 deco slots...
Did you make sure to check the Augment Section, to see if you didnt miss a Slot upgrade somewhere ? Because nobody else had this issue 😄There are definitely enough slots.

Nox @2:15 you get hit then start rapidly gaining health back as you are hitting the monster - how do you do that? I dont think your Kush Blessing is high enough and cannot see what other skill lets you do that
Lol you literally answered your own question 😄I took a physical Hit from the Monster. Any physical hit from a anomaly afflicted monster will give you Bloodblight (you can see the red glow affect from it around my character in the video aswell). When you have Bloodblight every attack you land on the Monster will heal you. That's the cool thing about having Intrepid Heart on LBG Builds. You can basically take a physical hit on purpose if you want to keep attacking and dont have to worry about it, since you're gonna heal back up in a matter of seconds anyway.

Hi Nox! I made my own version of this build and I've gotten a chance to get Tune up 2 all the while getting all the attack and gun skills needed in this build. Just want to ask if is it worth sacrificing the reload speed from your fastest to just fast when I equip the power barrel with Tune up 2? The only thing I sacrifice for the build is 1 level of evade extender. Thank you!
Hi there! 🖐🏽That sounds very solid. In terms of DPS it's not worth sacrificing the fastest reload. It can make quite the difference over the course of a hunt. However, the Build is so strong that you will still be able to comfertably get very good clear times when using fast, insted of fastest👍🏽

I slot augmented all my stuff and prefer more damage to reload speed and it’s not really that bad. I like watching the animation and it makes me feel cool lol
Only skill I'm missing is Mail of Hellfire. I have the exact same build (no MoH) with Power Barrel and Resentment (Rank 1) which is active a lot because of Bloodlust. But my RFP2 hit deal around 25-28 damage. Is the difference between me and you just MoH? It's so freaking hard to get from Augments!
If you're only missing MoH your damage output should be pretty close to mine (within a 1-3 difference range depending on what you're fighting). Are you using the Critical Firepower Switch Skill ? That will add a bit more damage aswell.

the non augmented version is missing plus 4 attack boost and the build deco only says 1 plus 4 im missing 3 attack boost did some armor set got nerfed?
The Non-Augmented Set isnt actually missing the 2nd +4 ATK Boost Deco. It just somehow got messed up in the Overlay 😄I adressed this in a post a while back. The Deco is in the Set regardless :). It's strange that you are missing 3 ATK Boost though, because the Arms (Virtue Braces) have +3 & then the 2x ATK Boost Decos will give another +2 each. So you should only be missing 2, unless you are using a normal ATK Boost 2 Deco (wich gives ATK Boost +1).

getting back into sunbreak, MR 20. This is all greek to me. Tier 10 weapons are just 3 question marks. How do I even unlock these? What are Risen version of armors? Where do you get it?
I'd recommend not realy looking into Endgame Builds at that point yet then (unless you dont mind spoliers). You'll unlock Tier 10 Weapons by progressing further into Endgame and the anomaly system.
What would be a good replacement for Mail of Hellfire in this build? I’m getting absolutely annihilated for mistakes at the moment lol
If survival is the issue at the moment, I highly recommend going for 1x Lv of Guts! It basically gives you the same effect as Moxie & it refreshes if you do faint. You can also increase Intrepid Heart to Lv 2 if you like.
When dropping Mail of Hellfire & augmenting for something else, you can basically choose any Lv 2 Skill from the Deco List.
For Offense, upgrading Sneak Attack to Lv 3 has good value!
For survivability, Guts, as mentioned before, is fantastic!
Another survivability Tip, would be replacing Sneak Attack completely and using Divine Blessing insted.
Here's the thing about Mail of Hellfire though: Having -50 or -100 Defense due to MoH, hardly makes any difference at all in the Endgame! 😂
Thanks for the advice! I ended up dropping Mail of Hellfire and managed to push Burst, Sneak Attack and Evade Extender all to rank three. That little bit of extra defence and manoeuvrability has really helped out, and the extra ranks for Burst and Sneak attack helped offset a little of the damage output I lost from Mail of Hellfire.
I'm on PS5 and haven't played the game since Rise launched on it (I think with TU3). I left off using the Duke's Arquebus, and kind of need to get my bearings again after being gone for so long. What gun/build would you currently recommend for someone doing early anomaly quests?
That's a bit tricky to answer without knowing wich shot type you want to specialize in :D
But as general recommendation it would definitely be the Choatic Gore or regular Malzeno LBG.

Hey there 👋Mail of Hellfire is a passive Skill. So you actually dont have to do anything at all 😄If it's on your Build, it's automatically active & you get the Attack increase.

The inly 2 Switch Skills that are pretty much always recommendet now are regualr Reload & Wyvern Counter. Everything else is up to your personal playstyle & preference. Critical Firepower is great aswell, but depends on if you are comfertable with using it.
Sorry, blade user here. Whats the benefits of rapid vs spread vs pierce ammo? Do they have different effects vs certain monsters?
Spread is close range buckshot, and pierce goes completely through the monster dealing damage to every part hit. Not sure how to explain Rapid. With Rapid Pierce Ammo you shoot in a 3 round burst. I haven’t used Spread but I’m assuming its increased fire rate like an AA-10
Followed your setup and have the exact attack buffs skills but i'm only hitting 24 - 25 damage at lvl 245 risen crimson valstrax. Have the same food setup but only consumed might seed + mega demon drug.. do i miss anything?

Are you perhaps looking for a early Sunbreak Pierce LBG Build/Weapon choice ? In that case i would say just go with the Nargacuga LBG. And if you dont have access to it yet, the upgradet Izuchi LBG will be sufficient untill then.
But if you are in late/Endgame, I'll be completely honest: Dont do it! 😅
There is literally no reason to run Pierce Lv 1 Ammo, insted of Lv 2 in late/endgame. You will be loosing alooot of damage by going with Pierce Lv 1! There's not even a good weapon choice for it in late/endgame 😄
@@YokaiNox Yeah, I wanted it for end game. Mainly because I don't wanna have to keep crafting Pierce LV 2 mid hunt when I can just grab a bunch of latch berries to restock. But if there's no good weapon for it. Oh well.
I saw that the Barioth LBG had full slots for decorations, but it's LV 1 Pierce is auto reload and thus relegated to only 1 shot before having to reload. Which lowers DPS immensely.

@@oucyanNo problem, any time! Recrafting is waaaay faster than grabbing berries!😄 Just put Pierce Lv 2 on your itemwheel & set it to "craft all". You will have a full 60 bullets again in less than 1 second. And it's also incredibly cheap to recraft P2! You will literally never run out of P2 due to how many bullets you get from recrafting 😊👍

Am I crazy or does reload speed lvl 2 all you need for Pierce 2? Reload 3 for me makes no difference in testing
It will depend on the Gun you're using. For the Primoridal Malzeno LBG it's definitely Reload Speed Lv 3. Unless you have some kind of strange glitch going on, where the Gun is giving you the fastest possible reload at Lv 2 😄 It has happened to players in the past, so it's not unheard off.
@@YokaiNoxI figured it out, if you use the power barrel version you only need lv 2 reload for the fast reload, not fastest though. Still nice to know.

Definitely not. Mind's Eye is essentialy useless on Guns & Agitator has lost alot of it's value now.
Anomaly afflicted Monsters stay exhausted super long when you break the affliction. So Agitator wont be active much over the course of a hunt. It's only good against normal Monsters that have no affliction & also no Risen Elders.
What about ballistic?

Ballistics is a purely personal choice. If you feel like you need more range, you can add it. Otherwise there is literally no reason to use it. Pierce already allows you to be decently far away from the Monster.
It's much more usefull on Spread Builds, where you actually get a large benefit from some extra Distance.
My only issue is Burst. Personally not worth the investment of a specific gear piece when it only gives you +10 raw for lbg at level 3.
Yeah definitely dont sacrifice anything to push it to Lv 3 on a Raw Build! Lv 1 is more than enough if you decide to use it. Otherwise, dropping the skill entirely is absolutely fine on Raw Builds aswell.

You'll have to put some of the Lv 1 Decos into Lv 2 Slots. It's the strange curse of Endgame 😄We're missing Lv 1 Slots on alot of Pieces now, so we have to use Lv 2 Slots for those Decos sometimes 😄

So, maybe someone here can help me with this. I cannot find the "Bullet Rain X" to build it. I have the "Bullet Rain (Viper) +" which builds into the "Bullet Storm (Viper)" but that's for spread ammo, not rapid pierce, and cannot find the bullet storm x anywhere.
Just to help answer some questions, yes I have sun break, yes I've beaten the story and sunbreak's story, and I've been working on both MR quests and Afflicted hunts. Idk if I am missing something, but my highest current weapon tier is rarity 10. If I just need to keep grinding to unlock it, that's cool, but if there's something else I'm missing ease point me in the right direction. ^^

Why is agitator never in those build in Rise? Wouldn't agitator be a much comfortable , safer and easy build? I am new to Rise and i see a lot of videos but somehow agitator is non existent in the builds.

Agitator is in alot of early Builds for Rise & early Sunbreak.
But later in the game the Skill looses alot of value, due to how the endgame Monsters behave & certain mechanics.
Afflicted Monsters (wich is going to be ~90% of the Late/Endgame) have a mechanic were you need to break them out of the afflicted state (like a super rage). And when you break them out of that state, they will be exhausted for a very long time! So during that time Agitator becomes completely useless, since the skill only activates when the moster is enraged.
This is why Agitator isnt used in late/endgame Builds. It just gets outperformed by other skills.

Can someone explain what ammo up does. I tried without it and with it and didnt notice a difference in battle. My ammo count was still 60 max on pierce 2
Ammo Up doesnt increase the amount of ammo you can carry. It increases the Clip Size of the Shot Type. So for example you can have 7 Shots per Clip insted of the standart 5.

You can, but for some of the stuff you will have to have someone that can host the necesarry Quest for you then.

You can get higher damage numbers by using the Chaotic Gore LBG and altering the Skills slightly. But Primordial Malzeno LBG still ends up being better now because the Ammo Clip is so huge.

Definitely ! You should have no problem fitting in all the essential Skills with that 👍🏽
(You might have to use one of the Lv 4 Slots for the final Lv of Rapid Fire then though. If so, just drop the big Evade Extender Deco. You can then take out the Coalesence Deco & put a Evade Extender Deco in that Slot insted)
How do you unlock augment slot+? Im currently ar level 190 and dont have it yet

@@User1273- MoH Lv 2 is absolutely fine! ^_^ You wont loose much damage. As mentioned in the Video, you can go for as many Levels of MoH as you're comfertable with. 3x is the end goad if you wanna go all out with damage, but aslong as you have 1 Level, you already have a good DPS increase. Dont worry about it.

@@brandonenke2680 it's not that bad. Cyclus melding allows you to select rapid fire up. So you need level 3, decent slots and hopefully useful secondary stat.

Still never got a god roll weakness exploit tali and I farm the living hell out of narwa and rolled easily over 200 talismans lol

There are only 2 Switch Skills that i pretty much always use. Wyvern Counter & Critical Firepower. Everything else will completely depend on your own personal playstyle.

Both have their time to shine.
Elemental Pierce is stronger than regular Pierce.
But regular Pierce is much easier to use & has much easier Ammo managment.
I built exactly like you, but my highest dmg is 29 per one ammo. and it regulates only 22-25 dmg per ammo. how can I have high dmg like you? like video your dmg regulated with 30-37 dmg maybe even more 41 dmg. how can I do?
There are a few things you can check:
- Are you using the right Rampage Deco for what you're fighting ?
- Are you using the Critical Fire Power Switch Skill for more DMG ?
- Damage can vary a bit depending on what you're fighting.

1 - Eat for: Marksman, Booster & Moxie.
2 - Eat for: Temper, Marksman & Moxie/Booster
(Temper increases deviation. So only eat for that if you can compensate for it with enough Levels of Steadiness)

Hi 🖐🏽The MR doesnt realy matter, since you can join any Hunt you cant post yourself yet if you are MR 10+. The AR needs to be at 210, to unlock Expert+4 & Attack+ 4 Decos. But you can already make the Build without those aswell and still use it.

@@norbertzdzichowski6424 You hav 2 options. For now you can use the Ceanataur Braces. They Have Crit Eye Lv 2 & Pierce Up Lv 1. You can use the Slot+ Augmenting method on them to get much better Slots by sacrificing one of the other Skills on the Braces (Grinder Ss & Marathon Runner) that arent needet here.
OR: Use the Flaming Espinas Arms insted. Those can be upgradet aswell by sacrifcing Skills on them that arent needet.

I personally never really find the gun weapon to be exciting in never mh, but i'll give it a shot.

"Virtue" is the Risen Shagaru Armor (male version). It's called "Prudence" for female Characters.

You can easily add it into the Build if you want to have it for extra comfort. I personaly dont have a need for it very often now, since we have the new Wyvern Counter.

Correct 👍🏽Regular Malzeno LBG can be used aswell, but it will result in less DPS overall.
All I have is Bullet Storm (Viper) your guides are SUPER confusing, it be BETTER if you actually shown step by step on what weapon you are REALLY using, and by that I mean CRAFT it from the VERY start and show how you upgrade it to have all those SLOTS and being able to WALK while shooting with PIECE ammo, I am using the Bullet Storm (Viper) and my Character can't move aroundwhile using this ammo type, and it only has slots 2+ +1 +1 yours has +4 +4 +4.

I say right at the start of the Build that the Weapon i'm using is the "Primoridal Malzeno LBG" - wich already explains all the issues you ran into.
There is also only 1x Primordial Malzeno LBG & No upgrades, or upgrade Path. So there is literally nothing to show either way.
"Bullet Rain X" is simply the name of the Build, wich i mention aswell.
You likely just missed some of that at the start of the Video^^

So, Glass Cannon elite player.... pretty sure you get 1 or 2 shots in endgame. the only defense is guts?? i prefer tankier build. thx for the effort. i kill the same monster perhaps 1-2min more than your build but i can take 3 heavy attack in a row without dying. (i'm not an elite player, casu yeah)

Now i'm actually realy curious what you calssify as heavy attacks 🤔
Cause every Monster above Tier 6 has atleast 1 heavy attack that can 2 Shot a Melee user in Endgame ( ~ AR 250+ Quests) with Defense Boost Lv 7 lol.
Sadly the only actually strong or "tanky" Defense Skills for LBG in Endgame are Intrepid Heart, Guts & eating for Moxie. Atleast when it comes to reliable safety from attacks that can 1 Shot.
A more tanky/Defense focused Build, like you mentioned, sounds fun aswell though! 👌🏽
(I'm also definitely not an elite player with LBG^^ Probabbly like an 8.5/10 Skill Level wise. I still make more mistakes than i care to enjoy xD)

LBG honetly feels too powerfull in general lol
Ever since World introduced the change that we can now move & shot at the same time, LBG has felt like going to a shooting-range in a way 😅Just walk around and fire lol
My pierce lbg set does 56 DMG per tick on the training dummys head without any buff's.
The training dummy has insanely high Hitzones😄

Build is impossible... With luck based augmentation and no guarantees at that? The number of decos are unreal too. Managed to get the Mail of Hellfire augments but man... Halfway through I thought I would get this exact build... This sure is a whole lot of disappointment. Oh well...

So far you are literally the only one who has had this sort of issue with the Build.
I point out that not all of the Augments are even essential to the Build & You do not need the exact same Skills.
The numer of Decos is also definitely not unreal or impossible.
I always appreciate any form of feedback, but calling this "a whole lot of dissapointment", just because it's not working in your particular case ?

(That aside these are final form Endgame Builds. So they ofc wont be "easy" to make. There are a easier ones to make in previous Videos.)

Bro your tripping, I made the budget version at first then within 2 weeks of grinding I got the augmented version no problem ofc the augments can be frustrating but imo that’s just monster Hunter it’s always been like that gotta put in some effort n pray to fatalis for some luck

There are tons of Builds out there with waaay higher Augment requirements! This is actually still kind of mid range.(Also keep in mind this is a final form Endgame Build. So it ofc wont exactly be "easy" to make, or involve some form of grinding^^)
I also always point out that you dont need the exact Augments i am using.

Hi there 🖐🏽 If you start with the largest Decos and work your way down in size, everything will fall into place automatically. There is no specific spot each Deco has to be in. Let me know if you still have trouble after trying that, then i'll try to list them all up for you here.

@@glennysmiles If there are 2x Lv 4 Slots missing, there seems to be a different issue here entirely. Have you checked the Augment Section to see if there mightt be a Slot Upgrade you missed, or something similar ? The only other thing i can think of right now is the Weapon Slots 🤔 Wich LBG are you using ?
