Hale Irwin 1990 US Open - Medinah

Hale Irwin holes a monster putt on his 72nd hole to force a play-off with Mike Donald at Medinah in 1990. Irwin went on to win, becoming the oldest US Open champion. I love this celebration.

I was in those seats yelling hale as he walked up the fairway while everybody was yelling norman. Hale and I have the same birthdate and I felt a kinship with him. Met him a few years later and we talked about that putt and our birthday.
