Mario Kart 64 being my first game as a kid, I used to play this all the time with my dad, who had brain cancer. We couldn't do much together, but it was always meaningful for me and I'll always remember, even though I was 3 years old. Rest in peace dad, I'll never forget these moments we had even though I was too young

Oh wow, this really takes me back to when i used to have a 64, Mario Kart was by far the most fun (and challenging) game i ever played as a small child, and have loved the series ever since. Thanks again, Qumu. I really needed that trip down memory lane, i was feeling a bit down, and this just made my day :)

despite being born in 2004 this was the first mario kart I ever played since my older cousin gave us their old N64 so this song is so nostalgic to me 🥲and god what a great remix!!

Ooh this is such a nice surprise, this intro is so iconic and brings back a lot of good memories of playing together with my dad. I remember being too little to steer by myself, but the N64 controller's weird shape was actually perfect to hold it together. I would press A as hard as I could and fire items, and my dad would steer lol. Love the remix!

Our older brother got us an emulator for it so we could play, his N64 was long gone
And we’d be huddled around the computer for two hours every day afterschool
Playing Mario kart
Till we’d basically
memorized tracks
And this song is significant when you’re trying to catch people for multiplayer since you’d be seated at the title screen for majority of the time just _waiting for them to come_
That part still hasn’t changed
But maybe it’s time to try the game again
