I have enjoyed the vlogs a bunch since you started. I just got caught up with the casino aspect. Keep up the great work and I’ll surely keep watching. Great work.
I am from around Indy and ran into your channel while searching for Horseshoe Indy poker room footage. Your content quality is pretty high up there for someone starting out. I watch a couple of other poker vlogs but I have to say your card graphics are the best! Also, like your hand breakdown and analysis. I thought it won't be fun watching this video without the actual table footage, but I am more interested in the breakdown, so enjoyed it all the same. Keep up the great work and keep them coming.. Subscribed!
Hi play the horseshoe Andy quite often! I live 10 minutes away so obviously that’s where I play. I think it’s really awesome that you started a Vlog and you play at the same casino as I do quite often!!! I enjoy your videos and will continue to watch them!
It's nice to win when playing higher. Great vlog. I hope the Horseshoe management adjusts to the accommodate vloggers. It sounds like a newer room, so hopefully, as time, goes on and the floor managers get to know you, some exceptions can be made. It's good for the Horseshoe.
That’s really unfortunate that they don’t want you filming in the poker room. Not sure why the casinos can’t get behind poker bloggers and how much traffic they can generate for their poker rooms. Hopefully you can get that worked out in the very near future.
heyyy i'm a little french and i like so mush your content !! this is a good starter 1k followers :) - i have just 1 question where found the animation for the card/flop etc because i make amateur video and i love your typographie :) - just I don't really like the blur in the background personally :) i prefere see the background but that's just my opinion :) - Nice work anyway 💪🏼🚀
I made my own motion graphics in Apple Motion. The blurry background is temporary as this specific casino won’t let me film at the table right now. Thanks for the feedback!
Wow, I wish all my sessions are like this😉. Really enjoy your content and style of play. Is this your profession? I realized that it takes hours to come out with each video but I feel that it's the only way you can gain more subscribers faster by producing more frequent videos. I follow quite a few poker bloggers and unfortunately many have given up vlogging. I hope to see a lot more of you so keep it up.
I wish all of mine were like this too! 🤣 I’m playing full time for a living and the vlog is just a fun side project. Ideally I can keep up with about one per week. Thank you for the encouragement!
Hey Todd, Really enjoy your video. I might suggest that your back round choice of a blurry screen might need re-thinking, as it makes it very hard to focus on the cards.
It's old footage so it's not the actual hand he is talking about. He said at the beginning of the video that the casino told him he can't record so I think he's just using old hands as a background so it has more of a feel of a typical poker vlog.
Did it ask for card information or anything? I could be wrong, but I thought the app just accepted the code and then after the 2 weeks the subscription went back to the free version. I’ll ask them and report back if that’s not correct.
@@toddswardenski thank you no card info wasn’t sure if hooked to the App Store. Thanks for checking it liking the app just want to be sure after the 2 weeks .
@Todd Swardenski yes, but no biggie. I thought you intentionally called anticipating the CO to shove if he was coming in based on his stack size. It was clear after that hand that CO doesn't take stack sizes into account when making decisions.
I stopped the video at 1 minute and 17 seconds. How does the casino know you're filming. Did they get tattled on, did you get title on by somebody who watched the first video looks like you'll have to get some of those secret agent camera in your glasses
Thank you! I play for a living. I was a software engineer until June of last year and decided to make the switch to playing full time. I can only speak for myself, but my channel isn’t even monetized so I make no ad revenue.
That KsQc hand with the trip kings, I would’ve checked the flop too. Probably had a Jx hand and might not have gotten the extra $275 for value. Good hand, nice play.
4:35 (AA) - opening size too large (indicates High pair) - turn bet size was toooo large; no stronger hand (2 pairs/sets) would've folded, no weaker hand (top pair/bluff catcher/straight draw) would've called. Just a trouble bet size! - didn't get what your coach meant by: _not enough left to find a fold on river_ ?? You can fold with as much as 1 BB! (FYI, I do not buy the theory of *having a "good price" to call* ). There's no such a thing as a good price when you are holding a loser. On contrary: opponent gives you a "good price" just like a fisherman is giving a fish great bait on the end of his cast line.
@@toddswardenski After playing around with it for a few hours though you can definitely see how much you need to deviate in a live setting. Seems like some of these GTO lines are missing tons of value.
@@vodun132 You're not wrong. Solvers are running their sims against other solvers which play drastically different from the live player pool. Big thing for me was figuring out the sizes I SHOULD be using and on which flops/turns/rivers and then applying my live play intuition with that strategy. Hope that helps!
Enjoyed the vlog but for some constructive criticism I would sync the commentary and boards with what’s happening throws me off a bit ngl. Keep up the good work tho very solid player.
Yeah, the video is actually from an entirely different session because the room has requested I no longer film. Vegas vlogs will be coming soon with the synced table footage we all know and love 🙂
@@toddswardenski ah that sucks cheers for the response. I’m in Canada hoping to make poker vlogs casino is still not open dreading that I won’t be able to record there when it does tho😬
Thanks for the feedback. I'm still trying to figure out a solution for these sessions I want to share that I'm not allowed to film. This was attempt one and I'll continue exploring options for when this happens again. Vegas vlogs with table footage will be back for at least the next few videos.
Sorry, but I’ll stop going to the Indianapolis horseshoe because they don’t understand vlogs and their value. I’ll just go to Vegas and Resorts World instead. Lol
Ha! If you’re in the area there’s still plenty of value in playing there. I’m told they’re working to figure it out and find a way to allow filming, but for now I haven’t been given the green light. I think it’s a Caesars thing more than this specific casino.
@@toddswardenski I completely understand the politics of owning a poker room but in this age, they should have understood the value of showing their poker room on UA-cam instead of denouncing themselves as a part of the problem. At this point, “get off my lawn” isn’t an option in the poker/UA-cam industry.
14:58 you folded you cards after better, but said he called. You would have shown your cards if you were called down. No need to BS us to make it seem like you won more than you did..

One of my new favorite vlogs to watch. I love your thought process and it’s definitely helping me learn!
Thanks, Matt! Glad you’re enjoying the strategy talk 😃
Pretty sure i contributed to your biggest win... nothing like helping a brother out... another good vid.

Great video Todd! Nice win
That 7/2 hand was great. Didn't know that was an extra game folks played.
They do thay because 7-2 is the worst hand according to the rankings. I see people using 10-2 as a bounty and as well.
I use postflop a ton. Good stuff man you're a hell of a player
Killin it with the 7/2 hands
I’m about an hour from horseshoe Indy, last time I was there, there weren’t any tournaments running. Has that changed?
Hey Matthew, they have started running a daily tournament on Sundays that begin at noon I believe. All of the updated information should be on Bravo 😀
Really like your Intros! Nice Vlog & ofcourse Congrats von the Win!
Not sure if you intentionally blur out your cards or the camera was just out of focus.
Yeah, the Horseshoe won’t let me film so I used old footage from another session. Still trying to find a solution for that location that I like.

Consider the stack size of the player in the CO as to why I raised so small from SB on T32 hand...

Would've watched the whole vlog if it was live recording
Why is it blurry?
I’m not allowed to film in this casino, so it’s old footage. Still trying to figure out a good solution for this location in the future.
Well done, Todd... 😁
Why blur the cards?.
I don't have permission to film in this casino, so the table footage is from a previous session before I was told to stop 🙂
NICE WORK!!!!
Much appreciated!
Tried post flop+. Hate that the scenarios don’t tell you who the aggressor was. Saying 3 bet pot but not identifying the 3 bet person is pointless.
It definitely has its limitations but I think it’s still a good intro to solvers. Good luck out there!
