Hi Mike, amazon footage, really like your channel. I'm learning how to film surf and I see you're using a T2i, which AFAIK, doesn't have full time auto-focus. I am quite curious, how do you handle the focus situation? Do you do it manually, or use a small aperture to have a deep depth of field? My Nikon D7100 does have full time autofocus but it really sucks, it's hunting all the time. Thanks and greetings from NorCal!
+WattoSurf thanks dude, and yeah i use manual focus, usually keep the aperture as low as my lens goes which i think is around 4.something unless I'm filming with a lot of glare into the sun then i pop it up to around F 12, where from in Norcal ?
+Mike Lucas Media thanks for the advices! I'm from the south of Spain (used to surf Portugal, Huelva and Cadiz) but moved to SF 3 years ago. Normally surf Santa Cruz / SF area. Keep up the hard work, see you in SoCal!
