Hey there, I've been watching your channel for a while and just wanted to say how much I appreciate all your setup and guide videos! Thanks to you, I got my Odin 2 set up just the way I like it. I'm bookmarking this video so I can use it again when my Odin 2 Mini arrives. Many thanks, my friend!
Nice video. One setting I feel is important that you missed and others ALWAYS miss is the "Change emulated PSP's CPU clock" under the system panel in PPSSPP settings. Let's take Outrun 2006 Coast to Coast as an example. That game doesn't have a fixed frame rate so on real hardware/emulation the game can have a random 30fps/45fps/60fps while playing. Turn that setting to max (1000) and you get a constant 60fps. I've never had crashes using this setting ( I leave it to max for all games) but no one talks about it. It's a great setting to know that can improve games/gameplay on many games that doesn't have a fixed frame limit
One thing I always change is Texture Filtering. It always makes pixel art (like the text in Final Fantasy Tactics) look blurry in its default mode, but changing it to "Nearest" makes them pixels crisp and clean. I didn't know about the cheats thing! I'm gonna load 'em up now and see which games I can get running at 60fps. Thanks Joey!
That's because it probably is. I gather you are talking about the 60fps cheat code for it? If so, ask yourself how does a code give you an extra 30fps in game without changing the hardware or improving it? It can't. The game runs at 30fps because the hardware won't allow it to run at 60fps. Go look at my comment, change 1 setting and watch that game get a constant 60fps without the need to enter a cheat code.
This is why I subscribe to you Joey. I wasn’t even thinking about psp games for a while and now I’m gonna go down a fun rabbit hole of cheats and HD textures for my games lol

Dang i was looking for a guide like this earlier today. Thanks!
Question about the texture packs is this for HUD icon and tiles to looks crisper or for textures like backgrounds in games to look HD.
Thank you Joey 🙏

Fight night round 3 60fps looks weird to me, it seems like its just on fast forward.
That's because it probably is.

Have you got a link to the psspp forum's texture packs?
Just added to description!
