Well if he's a labourer, he's getting paid for his hours, so he's making the big bucks. And if you include travel distance, he's raking it in. Hopefully the Mushroom Kingdom has socialised healthcare so Mario can get his dozens of chronic issues treated 😂
God bless this man. I have fibro and struggle to sleep, but somehow his streams help me nod off (and provide me endless entertainment over the course of the day) and are the only thing I can stand when my head is throbbing and I want to slice my own head open like a watermelon. Even when he's raging, he's pleasant, and the experience is never truly soured, even when he's in rapturous torment. God bless you Daniel.
I do the exact same thing -- when I have trouble drifting off, I pull up one of his more chill streams from the Archive and let it play in the background. Dan's got such a soothing voice.
RT stating the Pachinko shine was the hardest one, unaware of the horrors that was the Yoshi Island Pipe Red Coins shine that awaited him like an hour later
Thank you rt for suffering through this for our entertainment. So glad I looked for the vods since the highlights fail to truly capture the prolonged agony
RT: I remember having fun in this level! Me: I remember it being the level that made me put the game down, and every time I tried to play again, I ended up quitting as soon as I got there because it was so hard. RT: I hope I remember correctly!
You can give Yoshi everlasting juice! Stand him as far away from a fruit as he can reach, and just as his tongue touches it, jump off Yoshi. The fruit will be suspended in midair! Now get back on Yoshi and you can go wherever you like without needing to grab fruit. If his belly starts getting empty, just make him "eat". He will swallow the fruit that you glitched earlier. This can be done continuously!
The problem with USB C cables is they don't all have the same innards, so if a device requires a specific type of USB C cable it can cause a lot of issues when it comes to user error, as they will all plug into the same ports. This issue gets even worse when you realise that Thunderbolt uses the same port/plug, so those can technically be plugged into either, but won't work as intended. I really wish there was a more standard identifier, at the very least, similar to how USB 3.0 had blue plastic in the ports when it was still newer.
Notice tho that Peach doesn't refute the claim that she has a child with Bowser at all. Her only reaction is "so you're Bowser's son?" as if she expected this day would eventually come.
this whole game feels like when i'd try to climb out-of-bounds in spyro and the hitboxes and textures of the land would get all slippery and inaccurate
28:53 Sounds like your battery had some manner of component failure. I've seen it happen in a bunch of my friends' controllers over the years, but it seems to happen more and more often as time goes on. 🤔
I’m halfway through this video and I love RT and all, but because I’ve played this game for most of my life it makes it PAINFUL to watch sometimes. Godspeed RT, Who needs belly slides anyway?
30:36 🤦♂️ Think of it like pipes that carry water. You can have pipes that can thread into each other but can't handle the same water pressure. The standard fitting on the end isn't necessarily a controlling factor on the amount or force of the flow going through it.
34:18 Never by any Apple products... some of their products will straight up refuse to cooperate with third-party power cables, or they will "say" they are working, but will actually use power faster than they are accepting from the cable 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I think i'm having an epiphany. I wonder if this is the reason so many gamers have to keep rebuying controllers and various accessories. Because they keep using the wrong cables to charge them, and either assume they are broken, or they overcharge them and end up frying them. 🤔
No idea if this is common for the usb wireless ones too, but my controller has a sort of thick plastic line physically preventing any other sort of wire than the Nintendo wire. The nintendo wire has a divot, meaning that only it can slide in.
The cable thing is hilarious to me; I work at GameStop and if someone trades in their Nintendo switch with just a regular USB cable and not the Nintendo branded one, we can still take it BUT if the switch has a low charge it won't let us reset the switch unless it's plugged in to a Nintendo branded cable, so we have to go get a Nintendo branded one out of one of the other used systems just to reset the switch so we can trade it in 😅 even though the regular cable charges the system, it'll only let us reset it with a Nintendo brand one. Which is crazy
can some one tell me what vid the blender comment is from? also you can jump thought the fairest wheel if you climb up the path in front of it were one of the red coins are
isn't there a difference in how fludd controls depending on whether or not you press the button down all the way? I don't remember the spray controls being so stiff, lol
In regards to the trigger, the primary function is that you can move while spraying if you only press it down partway (not sure how this works on Switch because the triggers aren't pressure sensitive, but RT has clearly done it several times, so they didn't remove the mechanic). You can also continuously spray by letting off the trigger and quickly pressing it again mid-spray before the water pressure dies (this is particularly important for Yoshi since his spray dies faster), but RT seems to be unaware of this and keeps letting the water pressure die from holding the trigger too long and aiming poorly Additionally, he's not even using a number of other mechanics such as the "shotgun" spray that someone mentioned in chat, which you can do by holding the trigger and pressing the jump button (this sprays many droplets of water across a wide area and each one seems to count as a "full" spray, which is why speedrunners use it so often). There's also the spin jump and the ground spin, both of which you allow you to spray large areas quickly while performing them (the spin jump also makes you fall more slowly), but RT doesn't like the spin mechanics so he doesn't use them (the spins are actually very controllable, he just did them wrong once or twice and got it in his head that they're bad). You can also dive onto any puddle of water (sprayed or otherwise) and dive onto it to slide super fast, the momentum even carries across dry ground infinitely and lets you slide around the maps super fast Other than that, there are definitely some real issues like the floaty camera and touchy movement, but he's honestly just being a bit stubborn and making things unnecessarily difficult for himself in most cases, lol
2:31:07 This is why i hate playing games on newer systems. The gamecube version "occasionally" had camera jank, but this puts even Mario 64 to shame...
actual fact: Mario is in his mid 20's, in fact a lot of the Mario cast is in their twenties, like Luigi (since he is mario's younger twin), Wario, Peach, Daisy, DK even Bowser. confirmed that they are around the same age by the Yoshi's New Island and Partners in time games. Even tho he looks 40 he isnt weirdly enough
Rtgaming, please read this, the reason why you were having so much difficulty with the controls (besides it being emulated) is its using digital controls vs the original analog control, i tred to tell you this during your stream but you ignored me or just didnt see it, if you have the switch gamecube adapter for smash bros you can get analog controls in super mario sunshine, again i tried to explain this to you most of the streams but was ignored or not seen
It seems people with Game in their names really tend to choose the path with most resistance and claim the game is bad. And I mean this with no disrespect.
I was so mad at you, this stream and the last stream i tried to tell you, that you had to use a nintedo type c cable to charge their controllers as others type cs would damage it, i hope to god you arnt using unofficial typec cables to charge the switch, as that can brick it
I apologize in advance for slowly losing my mind playing this game
You should charge your remote
Are you using the Nintendo brand brain charger
all good dawg lol
Oh my, the man himself. It's okay, this game is kinda bonkers. The camera, the floatiness... it's maddening
Let's play all of Bianco Hills gang
RT really knows how to put the _'FUN'_ in *_'MALFUNCTION.'_*
I appreciate that the game casts Mario as a laborer or handy-man doing tasks, as opposed to an adventurer taking quests.
Well if he's a labourer, he's getting paid for his hours, so he's making the big bucks. And if you include travel distance, he's raking it in.

He really is so soothing. When I had covid and couldn't focus or relax, only rt's streams helped. So thankful for this man
I often go back to his playthrough of Sorcery and just fall asleep to it since it's so reading heavy. It's so easy to relax when listening to him.
@@voxelheart I know, right? I know he had to put the ASMRT podcast on hold, but I'd pay good money to hear him narrate audiobooks.
I love how according to UA-cam’s auto-generated chapters, the pachinko level lasts like 3 hours
