Cecil aka Dj wax Thanks for all your lovely comments on this record which came to me one day just listening to Art of love and mixed in with 10 other tune from reggae to hip-hop and a killer bass line by smokey, just to let you all know i still have 3 unreleased version of this tune which i will be putting up soon.Give Thanks to you all Dj wax
This was by DJ Wax AKA Cecil who owned the CMC Music Factory (big speaker rig.) One of the clubs that benefitted from his sound talent was Oscars in Clacton Essex, that place had a rig, which echoed across the sea to Kent!!! An absolute legend. His people carrier was also louder than most clubs today ;) He also (might still do?) ran a spot at Notting Hill each year - very impressive and a lovely crew - no attitude, all legends!
if this were played on a top 40 radio staion in the states today, l think a revolution would occur. Amazing rolling bass force, combs your hair for you
That bouncy break comes out of nowhere at the beginning and really sets the tone for the rest of the track. Remember this being rinsed a lot back in the day, and why the heckington not indeed!?
I think i actually have that record that DJ Swan-E played because he owned a record shop where i live and that's where i picked up my copy about 20 year's ago ! Big up for the video !
I love that "Untitled B-Side" track, but you're spot on about that bassline. Near drowns out the rest of the tune! Those reggae horns and time-stretched breaks are bliss though.

Like number 666. I'm proud of that
b side of this had an absolute bitch of a bassline...old skool ragga jungle with attitude. Remember rinsing it quite a bit!
I love that "Untitled B-Side" track, but you're spot on about that bassline. Near drowns out the rest of the tune! Those reggae horns and time-stretched breaks are bliss though.
