Epiphone Special II made in Indonesia restored

I thought this guitar is a quick fix initially but I was wrong. I didnt give up and tried to explore some more, unscrew the pots and jack and tested it and it worked. But when I put it back again it stopped working. It was pure luck when I loosen the tone pot and the sound came back. There was some grounding issues with the tone pot. But by just putting a washer, it sorted the problem. Now this guitar works lovely!

My first electric guitar, and I still use it after almost 10 years.... it is surprisingly heavy, (heavier than my Ibanez GRG170dx) and the stock pickups sound really nice in clean tones as well as in distortion, from what I've experienced in my home recordings... \m/ :)

Thank you for sharing your story. Someone also mentioned to me that the pickups of this guitar are really good. That’s two of you already who had that experience. And I must admit it really sounds great. I’m loving this guitar now.
