Removing the Insides! // Hanimex E300 Retro Mod Project - Part 4

4th part of the Hanimex E300 screen mod project where I show in detail how I strip all the unneeded components from the original unit, and get it ready to fit the electronics (which will be in Part 5).
The rotary tool did a good job of cutting.. though it took a while to get through the metal.. no sparks either!
At the end of the video I briefly show how I added a mains electric socket to the end of the original lead. I re-routed the earth from the case to the cable, which is a lot safer. Having the socket like this means I'm able to use the original power switch to turn the screen on/off. It also keeps things tidy, with the adapter for the screen being housed within the case instead of separately.
