Hi, the Tufton surely sounds better than Middleton, but among the portable Marshalls the Middleton is the one that sounds the loudest and with better bass based on the size it has. It's your choice if you settle for less power then I say yes.
I sold the Tufton because I didn't use it anymore, it was big to always carry with you and little power to use at home. The Middleton is the best compromise between power and portability (of Marshall products)
The problem with the x10 is that the bass is not that deep. Marshall definitely can go deeper and I just find the wking sound on the x10 and models before it to sound to bright. I love the warmer sound of the Marshall.
@Simon George I just ordered Wking H10. 2 tweeters 2 mid range drivers and a 6 inch 50w woofer in the middle with 2 bass relex ports. 120w advertised. It's 80 bucks off on Amazon atm
You got my abo mate. Appreciate your Work. Greetings from Berlin

Hello there i have the Emerton and the Tufton. Is it better to just keep the Tufton or get the Middleton?

@@alexlittig7927 the x10 is not bright at all it's muffled since it rolls off at 3khz this might be only a problem with the x10-1s
