    Obvious in hindsight, being as synthetic fabrics really do tend to just be plastic, but I can't imagine I would have thought of using synthetic dyes. Also would not have thought about the effect of letting the dye sit on the plastic as it dried, so thanks for the warning about that!

      I had to find out about it pooling the hard way! I lost 2 xwing visors that way.
