The band of Blues and Royals and the Life Guards playing Eagle Sqn (An RAF quick march) while marching back to Wellington Barracks with the Welsh Guards...what an ensemble!
@@militaryevents107 I can imagine! I get excited too when I hear my favourite marches being played too! Looking forward to heading out Tommorow and recording some of the Royal Welsh Band performing during the Royal Regiment of Wales Terecentenary in Cardiff Bay!!
I have recording of Eagle Squadron by the Royal Scots Greys on their final band LP in 1971. The band was disbanded The pipes and drums were renamed the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards P&D
Patrick Woods no, only the footguards do the street lining, sometimes with other branches of the armed forces. When street lining is being done the lifeguards and blues and royals will become the sovereigns escort.
