Interesting video. I just came across it. I did that walk last week and tried panos in exactly the same spots as you. Conditions were less than perfect as it was late morning under a cloudless summer sky. There was only a light breeze by the bench. The clouds in your image definitely made a difference. Still, when on holiday you take what you are given. I also did the same Diamond Lake shot albeit from path level. The road shot looking towards Treble Cone was a great idea (I wouldn’t have thought of it and even if I had I wouldn’t have tried it last week given the traffic!!! I live in NZ so will be back in late Autumn/Winter and hopefully get some atmosphere.
Awesome Henry, Wanaka is probably one of my favourite towns in New Zealand, so I enjoyed the little walk down the main strip. Fantastic hike, looked like a great photography adventure, so thanks for sharing mate. Loved the last shot of the road with the mountains, awesome atmosphere and the human element finished it off nicely, cheers! 👍
I lived in Wanaka back in 2009, and by the end of October, I'll have moved back for a bit. If you're still around, we should totally do some photography missions.
Nice one mate only just discovered you, nice video and images will be watching your videos back👍🏻 sub from me. I had to venture to the wood in my last vlog because of the good old British weather lol, have a look at me channel if you get a chance. Take it easy bud

Mike Cotton hi man. Yeah absolutely, that sounds great. Cheers for the shout.
Great videos Henry, I do the exact same bench compositions as well! Hopefully one day I can go to the other side of the world!
DPImage Capturing thank you! Yeah the bench one was just a trial really, but it came out okay!
