Welcome to the Prince journey. You got a long way to go. He was so underrated it's a shame. Another performance you should watch is Prince at the Brit Awards or the Alma Awards. Two other great performances.

🙏 4 the Prince reacts. He’s the greatest to ever do it IMO in terms of talent and showmanship alone. U MUST check out the Sign O’ The Times concert film, which was theatrical and directed by Prince himself. It’s the most complete illustration of the greatest talent of the rock and roll era at the height of his amazing varied powers with his most acclaimed album, even more so than the more famous and commercially successful Purple Rain.
And Prince and the Revolution Live in Syracuse is an amazing show and they remastered it.
Any of the Montreux Jazz Festival performances from 2009 and 2013 are masterful.

You should check out Prince performing live in his 20s and 30s, in the 80s and 90s. Young, electric, sexy and musically unstoppable. The Sign O The Times and Lovesexy concerts are a must.

Love your reaction! You mentioned that you wanted to say something, but you didn’t want people to get upset. This is having an opinion. No one can attack you for having an opinion, and if they do, it’s a reflection of them, not you. Say what you need to say with confidence & pride. At the end of the day we all know that Prince was fantastic at everything he did. It doesn’t diminish anybody else. It just gives us an insight into his musicianship. He was constantly compared to MJ, James Brown etc but Prince was his own person. He may have had influences, but he was his own artist, and he will forever be loved and respected.
On a side note..
Prince is an entire genre. As he would say "u gotta lotta party to go"
You could spend a lifetime exploring and experiencing Prince from late 70s- today (they still releasing gems).

Prince music is its own genre. He was in a class by himself. As a songwriter, record producer, arranger, multi instrumentalist, singer, dancer, band leader, entertainer, artist and innovator.
Even if you don’t like him or his music his talent is undeniable.
He may not have been THEE greatest at anything but he’s with tons of proof ONE of the best at nearly EVERYTHING
WHO else could say that?
Prince wins battle of the bands against everyone in history.
Even if God made an all star team of the greats who passed, they’d somehow be smoked by Prince.
Look at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame solo.
Those guys were on another level but he’s on another planet.
Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to get their eyes and ears checked or show me a single human who could do all the things this dude did at his level and with ease.
In 50 years I’ve never seen anything like him and nobody ever will again.

This is only one of the many reasons that makes me a die hard forever Prince fan. Prince enjoys what he does so much that he does not have to be in the spotlight all the time. He is just as happy to let others shine while he's in the background playing his guitar, piano or drums.
I grew up old school flower power and country but was a teen when Prince was THE MAN and was so blessed to see all of this live I wanted to play like him 😆😆😆 I as a teenager had his poster along with Daisy Duke. I am so happy to see u guys seeing real live music and what a blessing it was.

Say what you want to say young man and then stand on your square! In my day you had to do that to be a Prince fan! In the beginning he was looked down on. Called weird or gay or worse! Me and my crew stood solid with our support and told them they didn't know what the hell they were talking about but one day they would see and now you can't drive 15 minutes in any direction in the city without seeing some kind of mural or monument or the symbol...You should discover Prince the way we did. From the beginning. Start with For You and work your way up! In order! See the growth and progression to what you saw in this video! Now think for everything released to the public there were 10 more things in the vault...So if you really choose to go down the purple rabbit hole you'll find that you can never hear it all...Great reactions! my dad put me on Prince at 9 yrs old. Exactly 10 years from me. I have all albums, disc, coats, scarfs. Prince photos. I even have a concert album from Paris, France. NPG sent that to me as well as his perfume. Never will I open that up. NEVER!

Watching this performance always takes me back to 2005! 11-years-old, 5th grade, LimeWire library full of Prince bootlegs. I waited all night to record Prince's performance on VHS and then proceeded to shush everyone in the house while Prince was on as if it would affect the quality of my recording. 😂 Little did I know what the following decade would have in store for me on my Prince journey. 💜 Not gonna say too much on that, but like Prince said, "thoughts and words breed reality." Prince was a master manifester, and we can all learn from how hard he worked to create a reality for himself that reflected his goals and dreams.

Your attitude toward the donations is like Prince’s attitude toward playing music. He didn’t care if there were 100 or 10,000 fans. He said that we play the same.
One of my absolute favorite Prince memories was when I was one of only 8 people in the audience at Paisley. P couldn't hear our background vocals, so he made us all file onto this tiny stage and sing into his mic stand (to a completely empty room) while he went back on keyboards. There was something different about those smaller shows with under 100 people. 💜
