I don't why people get confused about Tanjiro's dad 😂. If you watch episodes about some flashbacks you can assume some dates for a timeline that will give you some clues as to who the characters are. And the demons are like a hundred+ years old that can't possibly be his dad.

You guys have to remember that only Nichirin Swords can kill a demon by their neck and some cases the poison from Wisteria that Shinobou uses, or Muzan just killing them with his cells inside of them.

@Valid it was a low-level demon, and yes, his body fell off a cliff and died, I think. The head, though, was still alive until the sun came up.
Does that mean that a really strong demon is not able to kill a really weak one if he doesnt have some weird poison or a Nichirin Sword?
@@GregorsAdventures Not directly but they can hurt them so bad that it takes a long time to regenerate (speed of healing is largely tied to strength) and leave them to die under the sun.

Douma taking each and every opportunity to troll Akaza is so funny to me. "Oh yeah. I'm letting him hit me. Getting the job first but not getting promoted before me must really suck. I can't believe he's not as strong as me either. My poor friend." Also, you really see the difference between the Upper and Lower Moons in this meeting. When the Lower Moons were summoned, they kept their heads bowed the whole time and were sweating bullets. When the Upper Moons were summoned, even as Muzan was getting angry and talking down to them, they were pretty chill about it.
Uppermoons just like Highschool students in Russia. Even if some Teacher yelling at as for something not very problematic we are still keeping our patience because we just too tired to be upset yk
I find it funny how Tanjiro went out of his way to cover up Mitsuri when she was about to spill out of her kimono but when she whispered in his ear, he got flustered. He’s so innocent and wholesome lol

@@evansyhevu9021 It probably can work like a job, you get more achievements, you can get rewarded like a promotion, i already read the manga while ago but don't remember if any moment they explain that (i don't think so), we can probably take it like i said before, if me (#5 for example) get better achievements than the #4 i can get his place, like that up to #2 getting promoted, hope this helps n.n (and the end of the day, they used the word "promoted" on the chapter hehe)

If you guys didnt understand then lets me explain..btw this is not a spoiler..the person with a face like tanjiro is Kamado's ancestor and that is a flashback from the past because in this eps sumiyoshi or kamado's ancestor told him that he was a charcoal seller and reached tanjiro who now continues to sell charcoal
I explained that because many people were dizzy, ufotable didn't say anything and went straight to the flashback and maybe many people saw as if the red-haired person wearing the earring was still alive even though he had been dead for a long time.
But that is how it is in the manga, they will explain everything in the next episode because that is how the manga explain.
So does that mean the demon slayer guy nor sumiyoshi are tanjiro's father but instead both are ancestors?

@@hypeflow8095 I think I got the gist of it. Sumiyoshi is tanjiro's ancestor to whom the demon slayer guy taught the dance and passed on the earings to, which then became the kamado family heirloom. And the upper one and demon slayer guy from the past are twins.

For context on that scene that y’all were confused (without spoilers), tanjiros dad has been shown previously in season 1 and doesn’t look like the guy from the flash back imo, second, tanjiros dad name is Tanjuro and that’s known from previous seasons, so that guy that looks exactly like tanjiro isn’t his dad cz his name is Sumiyoshi, and for last how can the upper one moon be tanjiros dad if all of the upper moons are hundreds and hundreds of years old? Hope that clears some stuff up

And yeah u could have a moon relatively younger to the others, but like not that young, Douma is not young at all, all the upper moons that u know up until now are well over 100 years old

Actually if you're looking carefully kokushibo and the mysterious man has different colored robes and different cursed marks kokushibo has also had cursed marks on his neck while the mysterious man has only in the forehead. I guess you'll find it out in ep 2. Love the reaction btw.❤

Basically, Mitsuri was flirting with Tanjiro all along by telling him that she likes strong men only to tell him later to get stronger by whispering into his ear. What made him nosebleed is most likely the idea of being her husband more than anything. (Also her getting close of course)

Upper 1 has red scars on his neck and forehead. The guy from Tanjiro's dream with the earrings only has them on his forehead.
Also, Tanjiro's dream is of an earlier timeline, way earlier than his dad's timeline.
remember in season 1 tanjiro dad said he wanted the earings to be passed down uninterupted through the generations. they have been passed down for generations before tanjrio. thats why everyone with red hair have them

The Blue Spider Lily was explained back in S2 (Entertainment District arc). Remember in S2 when Akaza reported to Kid Muzan that he has killed Rengoku. Akaza was finding for the Blue Spider Lily (he didn't find any) and then Muzan asked him to go to Mugen train to kill Rengoku and the trio since they were nearby. Up till now, we have no idea why Muzan is finding for the Blue Spider Lily.

I think you guys are forgetting that the upper moons haven’t change for over a century and they said that they haven’t reunite all of them since 113 years ago so this means that the upper 1 can’t be tanjiros dad and the guy that was talking to him in tanjiros dream can’t also be his dead, maybe an ancestor of him. And also (correct me if I’m wrong) the baby of that dream they were saying that it was girl and not a boy so it’s not tanjiro

Spoiler alert! The upper moon 1 (kokushibo) is yoriichis( sun breather with earings) brother and became a demon to surpass him. He died of old age fighting kokushibo. They are not related to tanjiro in blood.
Fun fact: Upper Demon 1 is related to one of the hashiras.

Just wanna point something out don't worry it isn't a spoiler remember Tenjiro's dad's name is Tanjuro the person your seeing in the flashback name is Sumiyoshi also if you look closely between the mysterious swordsman and Kokushibo while they look similar there's a bit difference between the two first their marks are slightly different from one another as well as their Kimono second their VA are completely different the mysterious swordsman's VA is Kazuhiko Inoue who did Kars from Jojo and Kokushibo's VA is Ryotaro Okiayu who did Byakuya Kuchiki from Bleach

Last season, when they showed Douma, he was upper 6, and now he is UPPER 2!, he became the 3rd strongest demon in the world in so little time, so you can expect big fights from him
What I understood abt that dream that tanjiro’s dad met the founder of sun breathing cuz he saved them from an demon attack and tanjiro saw that memory.
The reason why its confusing is because Tanjiro has the same hair colour and stuff. But then its shown that the two are no directly related in any way. Its just wierd writing and doesnt really have any decent explanation, its literally just a coincedience that the two have the exact same hair colour and tanjiros dad had basically the same hair style too.
That's what happen. But that wasn't Tanjiro dad, that was his ancestor from like 300 hundred years.

I want to explain about Tanjiro's dream,
❗️SPOILERS
The one who had a mark on his forehead is the strongest swordsman who lived more than 400-500 years ago, he was not related to the Tanjiro family, he saved their ancestor (Sumiyoshi) and gave them earrings and breaths, and Sumiyoshi (the one who looks like Tanjiro) is Tanjiro's ancestor, not his father
Don't worry mate,just wait anime watchers watch the scene where Yorichi tell everything to tanjiro 😂
BTW quick clear up, sumiyoshi is tanjiros ancestor and the guy there who he was talking to was that mysterious swordsman from muzans ptsd like-flashback!
He is portrayed to be close to sumiyoshi after saving him from being attacked however he isn't related to sumiyoshi in anyway! Therefore that mysterious swordsman has no blood relations to tanjiro however sumiyoshi talks about passing his name (legacy) down to his family and he sees it as pointless which we will find out why in the future
Ok this is my theory, Tanjiro's dad is not the of one who used the sun breathing, but only was saved by the guy who used it of and got close to him, almost like a friend or something, making the og sun breather pass on some basic techniques to him, which turned into the fire hinokami dance, and gave him a pair of nichirin earrings as a totem of protection anall that, like the supersticiouse belives and so showed by the one who trained tanjiro in the first place, who gave the mask to Tanjiro as a totem to guard one from evil. Tanjiro's dad and the sun breather just looked like brothers but they aren't related at all
Tanjiro's Dad was named Tanjuro. So this Sumiyoshi was probably an ancestor.
nah bro the great top hashira who used hinokami and scared Muzan is in Tanjiru family tree but the demon guy is his brother and has the moon style which is the opposite of hinokami . you can tell their diffrence by their scar because the demon one has two scars. And dont worry i havent red the manga and its just theory but it makes so munch sense.
Toshiro’s dad died of a sickness. The mysterious swordsman was his friend
Ok without spoiling remember Tanjiro's father (Sumiyoshi) learned the Fire Breathing dance. That is how Tanjiro is aware of it. Also remember Sumiyoshi was weak but dutifully performed this dance out of respect for the Slayer introduced here with the family. Kokushibo does looks strikingly like this slayer but you will learn more about both of them. So yes the unnamed slayer is in fact the Same slayer who teaches Sumiyoshi the breathing technique but is also no way related to Tanjiro. Remember this conversation is about not having heirs but also passing down something to the next generation out of respect for saving his family.
That man in the dream is not tanjiro’s dad. Upper rank one isn’t his dad either. And upper rank 1 and the man in the dream is not the same person, however they are related some how. And that other man that looks like tanjiro in his dream is tanjiros ancestor.

The upper one demon is the descendant who came closest killing muzan, n who muzan fired n is also in the memories of other demons remember, the guy from the flashback, well it makes sense that muzan at the last moment before dieing turned him into demon and put him on 1 to serve him. Kokushibo is my favorite Upper Moon character. My second favorite Upper Moon appears later in this season. He is Zohakuten. He is one of the most powerful characters along with Kokushibo. That mean the other upper rank are live 100+++ before . So the logic its that doesn't make sense that the father is in the flashback because u see someone look like upper 1 in flashback

Guyz you need to rewind season 1. The earring guy is Sun breath user who taught tanjiro’s father heno-kami kagura which tanjiro uses now. Tanjiro’s family is continuing the sun breath user’s legacy. Also, Upper moon 1 is the TWIN brother of that earring guy
I don’t understand why everyone thinks that kokushibo is Tanjiro’s father, we were told in plain text that the upper moons have not changed for 100 years. At the expense of the guy with earrings in the memoirs, they said that he had no heirs. people are so blind that they can't tell the difference between tanjiro's father and the dude with the mark. Look at the size of the mark on the dude with the earrings, and now look at the scar of tanjiro's father, it doesn't even fit.
