Yes he’s from a group called NCT, which is divided into several subgroups. So he’s in NCT127 and in NCTDream, which are permanent subgroups, and he’s in some NCT U songs (this group can be made up of any number of NCT members depending on the song). He’s also in a group called SuperM, which is made up of members from various groups from the same entertainment company SM. NCT is under SM entertainment.
As for the egg theme, it comes from the fact that Mark was filmed for some show ( not sure which) cooking eggs and it was a failure. A fan took a screenshot and tagged Gordon Ramsay and said my boyfriend cook this egg, and Gordon Ramsay replied that she should get another boyfriend (or something of that nature).
I’d recommend perhaps NCT127 Superhuman, Gimme Gimme and their latest Ay-Yo. And for a super experimental sound perhaps Sticker or Simon Says.
The egg thing makes sense now. That's a lot of subtle groups though, that sounds hard to keep up with. Thanks for this LC ✌️

Mark also has child (it reflects on his childhood as he grew up in the industry) and other members have realeased solo songs too!! Just to name some

The producer who helped him said it was deliberate. I don’t know his reason but they said you’re supposed to be confused what the song is about. And the egg gag is that you would have to try REAAAAALLY hard to get eggs as bad as he does. He REALLY can’t cook an egg! He’s famous for this it’s a thing. You would probably love lots of NCT songs. Their title tracks go hard with the hip hop, I especially love 90s Love. But they have amazing r&b tracks, too.

Nct is a 25+ member group that splits up into different unit
(Haven’t debuted yet)japan unit
Wayv- Chinese unit
Nct 127- main unit
Nct dream- (meant to be like the child unit where you watch them grow up both personally and musically so songs are more upbeat)
Nct u - nct u is temporary units where different members from different units come together
They also have smtown where different members of different groups with sm entertainment (super junior, aespa, red velvet etc.)
Mark is Korean, but from Canada.
Nct have their own style and vibe it’s easily recognisable. People even say that sounds like a nct song or they look like a nct member. They have a style that isn’t replaceable. Nct members themselves do produce for the group but majority its for bsides and title tracks are made by producers like dem jointz

NCT is a group that focuses on an experimental type of music and releases, that's why you would most likely feel weird listening to any song of theirs when it first comes out but trust me you will instantly get addicted to it! thank you so much for this reaction video by the way!
