I am so happy to see this!! I noticed this little guy at your feeders and said a prayer for him. Thank you for getting him to someone who could help him!! I truly enjoy your channel and have it on everyday in the background as I am working!! Thank you for taking such good care of all the visitors in your backyard!! 🐶❤️🙏🥰
What a fantastic save! I was concerned for this little guy, watching the lesions progress over his little eyes with each passing day. I hadn't seen him at the feeder for a while and was convinced he had died from his illness, either from starvation or predation. Very pleased you intervened and got him the medical help he needed to continue on with his happy dove life. More people like you in the world we need!
First, l am in awe of your care and concern for these creatures. Second, l have never heard of this disease. I’m so glad that it is something that will go away.
I happened to see this bird one day quite awhile ago (or so it seems). I tried to watch for it again but didn't happen to see it. Bless you for saving this bird. Caring people are what this world so needs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I truly enjoy watching your bird feeder daily.
I am so happy to hear you were able to help this guy! I remember seeing him at the feeder and wondering what was happening to him. Thank you for all you do and for sharing!
Thank you so much for sharing this and for helping this bird! I happened to be watching when you caught him and wondered what happened, what a wonderful thing to do, you help restore my faith in humanity a bit! We love to watch all the birds at your feeders and we find the doves very entertaining in particular. It has helped me appreciate birds more and I have been slowly building my own feeders and bird areas.
Seen that dove time to time and then didn't see the dove.I kinda figured the dove had a disease. That is great you were able to help the dove recover from it's affliction.Great job to help the dove recover to normalcy!😊

thanks for this rescue! wondering if they released back near you. i always wonder if birds (or other animals) care where they are when they are rehabbed and released; did they lose their flock/family?

avian pox is not transmissible to humans and is relatively easy to cure on domestic fowl, sometimes starts with a mosquito bite.
Karma will bless your soul. Well done
