with as many times as the mansion is destroyed in the comics I always wonder how they can get it up and running so fast, never thought that with that many different powers rebuilding would take 1/4 of the time.

One thing I never understood about storms powers was that in order to fly she manipulates the wind around her. If so shouldn't that be moving at like 60mph+ ?
rafiq403 Kinda. It's always assumed that her control over her powers is so fine-tuned that the area of the wind that lifts her is pretty tight, to avoid actually harming the people and objects around her. The same things she does on a larger scale to prevent her teammates from getting harmed are the same she does on a smaller scale.
Marcus Crews Pretty much this. If she can quickly accumulate and condense water vapor into clouds to rain heavily and fill up a fountain, she can precisely control the air around her for flight. There’s a reason her people considered her a goddess.
Not only that, but in most of the continuity Professor X is more like the Mutant equivalent of Martin Luther King Jr., not an extremist like Magneto, who was and has been the Mutant equivalent of Malcom X.
Seeing this made me realize something. Prof X is one of the most powerful mutants in the world. He is the world's most powerful telepath. But despite all that power, he still can't do shit to help build a house. Logan, Scott, Spike and some others also have powers that don't really help with construction, but at least they're healthy and can put in the effort that any healthy, in shape man could. Prof X is just a crippled old guy who, despite all his amazing powers, is still just a useless old guy for a project like this.
You kniw they needed to buy certain supplies and he had to be the one to handle that money right? They couldnt just rebuild everything from what was left over so he had to handle that. He isn't as useless as you make him seem.
He’s not useless in this task, though he isn’t doing anything here. IIRC, Xavier’s power is telepathy and not telekinesis, so if he was alone, he’d literally forcibly convince a small army of construction workers to do it for him.
id want the power to teleport, or fly which would allow me to be able to get where there is work(if i could teleport i would only teleport to places ive been to before, safety thing), or the power to cause full healing and regeneration in whoever i wanted, but i think if i had it ith would come at a toll on me which would make me have to recover(severe enough uses might even require hospitalization for me), i would like to think i would charge a fee that would let me pay my bills without being so pricey that i couldnt be afforded, id like to be able to give people back their health and body parts(without being held liable if i would regrow something they intentionally have removed like wisdom teeth, tonsils, appendix, or in a womans case, her reproductive organs)
I did a mutant ability quiz and I precognition( see the future) with multiple ways I could see it one of them was through dreams and art. But I've also always loved Jean Grey/Phoenixs and Rogues powers.
