X5 is one of the best SUV's out there. I have one and highly recommend to anyone who is considering one. The faster you go in these vehicles, the smoother they drive. There's a reason these cars are pricey, you get what you pay for.

If i put the key in the ignition... should the electrical power become on or i need to push the start botton without putting my leg on brake so i can move windows and liaten to muaic?? Plz help
There's no ignition, I believe all you have to do is press the start button with the key present in the car. This will make electricity come on.
It doesnot have peddal shift
Wow looking back that was a great buy. Too bad the N63 Twin Turbo V8 was the worst engine BMW ever built and it had a recall to fix over 14 major engine components.
If not done these motors lasted to 40,000 miles AT BEST before they were cooked. But after BMW got sued you could take to the dealer and get the $18,000 motor job done for almost free. I think there was a $500 dealer fee. I have mine and still love it with 78,000 miles on it

How reliable are these things?? I had a 318i that was a real pain in the butt.. got rid of it at one third of the buying price..
Completely unreliable and expensive to maintain. The N63 engine design makes it run hot so it burns oil and ruins fuel injectors, which is why it was recalled. There is a class action lawsuit settlement. I bet this one featured here is already in the junkyard, you will start having major problems at 60-70K miles. I would buy a Toyota instead.
