QUEEN is Simply The BEST!
I've watched many concert videos, and the level of rehearsal is obvious. Just seeing someone there at the exact moment needed to hand Freddie a half-stand microphone when he gets up from the piano or take it from him before he sits back down at the piano, you can tell they have left nothing to chance. It's wonderful that Brian and Roger are still at this. Nobody's better.
I know it's a distant hope, but if only there would be another Queen-concert in Ukraine again soon! ❤

In 1982, I was lucky enough to get into Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto during Queen's sound check (Freddie hadn't arrived, but Roger, Brian, and Billy Squire were present). I remember there being a lot of discussion as to how to mic the gong. Finally Roger declared it was more of a visual and shall never be mic'ed again. Whether they ever put a microphone on the gong again, I have no idea, but the discussion was a bit heated. It was cool and exhausting being inside the Queen bubble for a moment. lol

Great to have a year with Queen The Greatest again, now about their live performances. I saw them live last year and it was absolutely amazing. The magic of Queen was still there, it was a miracle coming over me with the first tone of their music. To hear and see them live was an overwhelming experience. 🤩👑

39' ah! What a song and what a story. 1st time I listened to it: stay as a teenager in...Ealing in 1993 (), Sunday afternoon flea markets: cassette of A Night at the Opera, 39' before the jelly served by two elderly sisters.
2008 : Queen+PR at Paris Bercy: I find myself sitting behind two elderly ladies pretty close to 1993...👵👵 I was like, laughing, "Sure it's from the members of Queen!"
