I dont think you have done extensive assessment to tell ppl it's a good deal just because insurance have valued doesnt mean its a good deal. some of these vehicles just looking at the damage and the make is enough for you to skip them. once airbag means electricals pyrofuse module seatbelts etc. engine mount could mean structural damage, wheels could mean whole suspension etc.
A written off vehicle the assessor has determined the cost of fixing it is either equivalent or more than the value of the vehicle...buy this vehicles for spares but not to fix and use
Hizi ni hekaya za Abunwasi. These cars are overpriced. Salvage cars are bought by veterans of car restoration. They know what to look out for in an accident cars. The rest of us tukutane Mombasa kwa yard.
For people who dont know much about the airbags they should not be replaced as per manufacturer. Know that those trying to claim replacement ni watu wajuakali.
Good job . But any car that has deployed airbags engine isn't intact. The mechanism that triggers deployment of airbags has to detect an anomaly/impact on the engine for it to deploy.
@@immanuelkamau1614 there's sensors all over the car for the SRS system which detect the crash. My point here is you're wrong about airbags deployment being a redflag for the engine. The sensors just communicate to the airbag ECU that an impact has occurred or that there's is significant change in speed and the ECU deploys the bags. Nothing that affects engine functionality except power cut out which happens on the battery.
Audi almost a mil when you start changing airbags there are modules to bought reconfigured thats abig job not worth it. These German cars have computer issues and will keep giving you faults
Not making sense. With those prices, you'll get an accident free car of the same model. Nissan juke 2012 midel @490 is crazy 🤣. That's a 200k car, anything past that is a scam
go to ruai and see the price of these parts ....better not buy these cars ,even the insurance know the cost of these repairs that's why they opt to dispose them
Take note insurance wrote them off because the price of repairs is high
MOST of those cars are best bought as spare parts

Very high prices. They calculate the cost of repairs. So its not worth it going for an accident car.
Fala akikuuzia kitu utajua pia we ni fala

Airbags don't deploy because of any engine impact. It is a safety mechanism and the sensors are actually on the bumpers and sides not the engine.
@@patrickmaithya3630 which bumpers? Front or back. Cars that get hit underneath also deploy airbags. There are no bumpers underneath a vehicle.
