    I converted 545 customers from mechanical to liquid Air-8. The ones we have been doing for a few seasons at 2 apps per year are significantly drier after our northeast Ohio spring rains. They also look spectacular. I combined 1oz of SEA K to my spring application this year. Thanks again John for developing suck amazing products.

    I’m so glad this series has come out. So much great information, especially at the end when you speak to how all of our lawns are different... generalities create confusion, and everyone can have a different experience depending where they are located. Well done John!

    I mechanical aerate every year and also supplement air 8 throughout the season. I bought a soil probe to pull a core for a soil test this year and couldn't believe how easy it was to drive the probe down, easily a foot.

Thank you for clarifying the Air8 only plot which I questioned was missing. I'm realizing that the soil Amendment approach isn't an overnight, one season deal. Takes time to correct.

      Thank you for bringing it up as well. I wanted to make perfectly clear where limitations were and if I were to say “those camp actions readings were at 15” below the surface,” it wouldn’t much matter over all. If they were 2” below the surface it would be terrible. Reality is 8-12” for readings.

    Thanks, Based on what my needs are and your three videos here I am planning on using both. In the main reason for this is to help in leveling out my lawn. Yes I have areas that do need to get much better water to the roots. But I also want to slowly lower the high spots and raise the low spots. Am I thinking correctly? Thank you again for your educational videos. They are extremely interesting and are teaching me a lot. My apologies for this being a two-year-old video series that I am commenting on. I am just extremely interested in the subject.

    Good series. I like your point about what's good for one lawn made be different for another. At the end of the day, I'm about the results on MY lawn. Does Air8 work? I know that the Bio-Stimulant Pack brought HUGE changes for the better to my lawn last year. I will use Air8 along w RGS and Microgreen as a way of getting those products down in the soil. I'll also tag team Air8 w mechanical aeration bc I believe that's what my property needs. Again, good series!

  • @eugenieandrews8874

    John I've been watching your videos for several years paying special attention to your views on core aeration. Your comments on core aeration reducing soil carbon makes a lot of sense to me. I live in Sandy, UT with sandy clay loam soil that receives light traffic. Haven't core aerated for maybe 10 years and my soil drains very well. I also use RGS and have roots that extend at least 8". Have had some recent lawn growth issues but I think they are due to other factors. But I want to see if you think I am correct in not doing core aeration. Nearly everyone recommends it as a possible solution and many neighbors do it yearly. Also doesn't the freezing action during winter act to reset compaction in lightly compacted soils that aren't heavy clay? Really enjoyed this series and watched the episodes several times. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

    • @Lawncology
      @Lawncology  3 роки тому

      I would say that many people can eliminate mechanical if all their practices are in line. There will always be a place for mechanical and a place for liquid. Most people will find that the need for mechanical aeration will go down when they use good cultural practices in tandem with your liquid.

      Thanks. I’m hoping it helps give me that dark green look. Still trying to decide if I’m going to use Roybi back sprayer or dial in hose sprayer.

      Either on will work, but the backpack could be easier since it’s a low volume application

      @@Lawncology Thanks John for the reply. One more question for you. Can Sea K be applied with the other NEXT Bio. products such as Humic12 and RGS in a dial in sprayer.
      Looking to apply my second round of the bios AKA “Lawn Domination of my neighbors” in the next few days.

      @@BenjaminT.Minkler it was pretty fun and challenging to comb through it all and keep it simple. I’m looking forward to when I can present this to my peers.

    Do you plan on releasing the data or the paper accompanied with the university trials? Would be interested in reading/looking at it
