I hope this video will be enjoyed by some of you - sometimes it’s fun to make videos outside of just thrifting at the store! Thank you to everyone who watches!
Danielle, you are wise beyond your years. This is a great video full of ideas and reminders. Martha Stewart always said burn/drip your new candles before your guests arrive. It looks more inviting. I like your pheasant much better than the turkey. (See girl- you know what you're doing ) 🍃🍂🍁🍁
Oh forgot to say Danielle they sale sewing machines all the time at estate sales for ten or twenty dollars. You could have an older neighbor or aunt teach you how to thread it and do the bobbin. It is super simple to make runners or pillows. I do it all the time now. I see beautiful fabrics at estate sales and I make all of my own pillows now.
Ive never seen those copper hanging pears...I'm obsessed!!! Putting those on my agenda immediately🤎 Always love looking for plaid scarves & blankets..I love them for every season but especially fall & winter!! Recommending a pre-burn on candles to get a drippy look is a really great tip that not everyone thinks of👍.
I think it’s great that you filmed in front of your new piece of furniture (buffet/tv stand). Nice editing too.👍🏻My favorite item is the pheasant planter that you’ll style with the flatware. 🍴🧡🍁🤎🍂💛
I'm surprised but it was my favorite too. I never would have even given that thing a second glance in a thrift or antique store, but your idea of styling it w the silverware is a wonderful idea. Never too old to learn.
If the table cloth is too short and doesnt fit your table, angle it on top of a solid or even tiny plaid or solid deep brown or rust color tablecloth that fits beneath it.
Hi Danielle... You have the sweetest * Old Soul * ... It's not very often that you see a younger person who has a passion for old rhings. Go girl, and you don't sound bossy😂❤🎉
Danielle if you want to make pillows out of the material and you don't sew (I sure can't!) then you can purchase a high quality fabric glue and glue three sides, put in the stuffing, then glue the last little bit. I have seen people use hot glue as well but I like fabric glue which you can get at Joann's and Hobby Lobby. Great thrifted items and good advice especially for someone just getting to collecting thrifted items for seasons.
❤ Hi sweetest heart, Danielle…you are one totally delightful young woman! I love your videos…your flavours of vintage finds and your incredible presentation and decorating ideas…you are specially gifted from Almighty God to be just who you are! You are SO great at what you do! Stay Real Close to God…highly Crucial in the days in which we are living now! I love you……❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Danielle 💓 Lincoln and Jackson xoxo I really live all ur fall ideas so brilliant thanks for sharing Laura my favorite was the copper candle in a cup so pretty 😍
Might you be able to use that lovely tablecloth with lace trim under your television? I taught myself to sew, it wasn't too hard; but I do know it isn't for everyone. I have picked up some vintage brass candlesticks, but they seem to take smaller candles than the typical size....any suggestions? Books, do you have any suggestion for getting the strong odors out of them? I am full of questions tonight; but love your ideas. So young and so wise. Great idea for the scarves and I shall be keeping my eye out for them. I like the pears and pear stems, never seen them. I recently picked up cross stitching again and hoping to get some small fall pieces done. OK, now you have me wanting to hit the shops for turkeys and other autumn stuff. You are such an enabler Ha,Ha.
Hmm, for the books maybe you could put dryer sheets in them to help or sprinkle baking soda on them and set them in the sun for a little bit. I’m not sure about the candles…unless you checked eBay for skinny candles that fit!
Thanks, Danielle ! Great and sound advice from you. Interesting to learn your "Tricks of the Trade" !!!! Bang On ! Great taste and style choices. Top video. As always, many thanks to you 🇬🇧♥️👏👌😉😘
I love thrifting...stroll often thru em'...Thanks for your advice..yeah I'm always looking ahead for seasonal items...if I need something I go thrifting first...however I do buy new. In my area thrift prices are HIGHER...$$$$ than I see on many channels. Byeeee from So California
Another idea when shopping for books on the cheap is to remove their jackets and see if they can pass for oldish looking when added to your displays. I’ve found many with embossed boards, or gold printing, etc.
I love all of the things you thrifted. The scarves, copper, candle sticks, and your linens. The Currier & Ives print looked familiar, and I found I have it, too, but as a tray. So pretty.
Wow, your suitcase collection is really growing! I thought that you might buy that wooden horse's head when I saw it, but you brought home some good stuff.
This was a great video with so many fun ideas! I was just at the thrift store a few days ago and went through the linens section and found a few beautiful pieces. I was so excited because I don't normally browse the linens but I am glad I did because I hit the jackpot! Thanks again for sharing your fall finds. Oh, and by the way, Isaiah 26:3 has been my favorite verse for many many years. I was happy to see you used that verse.❤
I'm thinking of decorating earlier than usual. I love to thrift aprons, but I do wear them. I like to thrift for decor, but I mainly want to be able to use what I buy, not just display.
I don't sew either. What I do instead is use fabric glue. It works great. I made curtains. This year I am on the hunt for pretty fabric at the thrift store to make pillow covers. If you decide not to sew your pillow covers you might want to try glue.
Hi Danielle..you look beautiful ,.your hair is so healthy and pretty and love your top or dress..pretty for fall. We have estate sales every weekend and they are so inexpensive. I have lots of fall, but this year I am not doing any Fall signs, going to do more natural things that I already have. That was a great idea about finding big fall scarves if you don’t find blankets, Fall is my most fun season as once you have it up you can leave it until Christmas time. I got tired of brass and now I want brass candlesticks. I want those two colors of candles like you have. My neighbor has a beautiful booth in an antique store. She had a free yard sale yesterday of fall and Christmas. I have too much so I did not go. now kind of sorry. Love your house..beautiful. ❤❤❤
Great video Danielle! I really enjoyed it - lots of great tips and ideas! I just have to say you look beautiful and I love that top/dress in fall-inspired colours. Thanks for sharing 😊
This was a great video as a very amateur thrifted. I know I want minimal fall decor, and I don’t want to spend too much. I made a little list based on your video so thank you!
Danielle I was so excited, the other day my local tiny thrift store had a book sale a bag for 1.00!! And I couldn’t not believe my eyes, I got 7 very old books the newest being 1940😂 they are aged to perfection and mostly fall colors!! Finally a score!!😂 I just started to gather up some of the summer items that will need to be put away because I am soooo wanting fall!! 🍁🍂🍃 Great video! Lots of great ideas, can’t wait to see what you do for fall this year! ❤
Tell me about it .. I know I should have jumped on that pepper grinder you were selling . But as always I procrastinated and boom it was gone . That was a great find . I missed out 🤦🏻♀️😩
I am loving coppers for the fall right now! So many great decor items you found. I love the table cloth. Not sure if the issue is that it’s too small, but it would be lovely if you got a neutral, solid colored table cloth and just layer them. Just a thought!
Everything was so beautiful and yes, your hair is beautiful as well and the shirt you had on fit perfectly. I can’t wait to see your house in a tour. Good job and good finds. You always make me smile. Thank you for sharing.
I hope this video will be enjoyed by some of you - sometimes it’s fun to make videos outside of just thrifting at the store! Thank you to everyone who watches!
What is your ebay seller name,I can't find it under home made vintage thanks

Thank you so much!
If you have a piece that’s too small for your table, just layer it on a larger piece. You have some lovely items.
Great tips! Your hair looks so pretty.
Thank you so much!
And burning pies! LOL!! Thanks for the tips. 😊
"Baking and burning pies!" You are so cute. I love your ideas and the style of this video. Thank you!
I was staring at your hair more than your collection. 😮. It’s beautiful 🤩.
Me too!! It looks great!
Yerh the green eye monster came out ...😂😂😂😂

You need to check out the no sew hem tape for your pillows. You just will need an iron, that should help you out
Okay, I will definitely do that!! Thank you!
I literally can’t wait for fall or literally any other season aside from summer!
"Baking and burning pies" You are adorable! Thank you for the videos
Love the table cloth, maybe you can make a table runner and with the extra make napkins 😊
For sure, a lot of viewers are also thinking about these stuffs. Very timely. 💯💖

Forgot to say I love decorating w pewter in the fall as well.
My best places to go for vintage books are church thrift stores and the public library book sale!
True! I wish we had those here!
Your decor inspires me. You have such a knack at making things cohesive.

Thank you! I am worried about messing up the covers if I try to sew them haha.
Brass candlesticks are impossible to find in my area!!! Love your videos!
I use mine when the power goes out and they are so much better than just candles. Functional and gorgeous gorgeous
That rusty brown colored scarf would be beautiful as a table runner! I use scarves for that all the time!
I've been looking for someone who has a style like this who thrifts. Thank you for posting this amazing video omg

What is your EBay seller name? I'd like to check it out and see what you have for sale. Love your videos.
I don’t really have any items for sale right now, I need to add some new stuff but you can save this link!

I love the copper pears! I'll have to try and find some! Could I ask where you store all your old books ?
In the guest room closet lol
Unfortunately, in our area, we can't find brass anything, and on the rare occasion, I find some they are so expensive.
