Some really cool projects coming up. The 944 sounds really fun! I would be very interested in watching that project come to fruition.
I need an excuse to learn the OM 606… definitely would be a fun project to do it on.

Interesting fact: Lada Niva (VAZ 2121) is still being produced, but under the name Lada Niva Legend
I saw that they changed the name… too bad I can’t import anything that new.
I love all the project ideas!!! And you can never bite off more than you can chew...just might be a really long year, or two...LOL
Looking to get an 80 series LC by the end of the year so it would be cool to see what you guys end up doing with it (and get some good ideas for my own mods). Love what you've done with the orange LX!

Really excited for that Lada. If you can, please do an off-road capabilities test in its stock form, because the Ruskis claim it can climb Everest and I don't buy it 😂
Ha… well Everest is a reach but it has a very capable… it has a lot of clearance stock and is super light so works great in Russian Farm country and Siberia… it has a crank start so even in the extreme cold it won’t leave you stranded.

The Niva started out in '77, but the UAZ "Buhanka" started in 1965, and still being produced... Which is frightening!
