My one season in sidecars, after a few years in solos, was as a passenger to Soots. Lovely bloke and a very considerate driver to a big lump like me. Despite mechanical issues throughout the year he got us to a great overall finish in the championship with a novice passenger. It's the hardest physical workout I've ever experienced, and some of the most fun. Sadly ended by injury in the last meeting of the year.
The Scottish sidecar scene is pretty special. Thanks for shining the spotlight on one of motorsports lesser known gems.
Excellent footage of our “Sidecar family” well done 🏁🏴

Great to see what goes on beyond the race itself 👌
Great vid, and a fantastic sport.
