Honestly I don't think it matters who starts at outside corner. Chiefs have the best coached up secondary unit in the whole NFL. Especially last two years everybody in that room has made major contributions when they saw the field.
Played basketball today cause I love it, good workout and it's fun, but it sucked today. Was literally just playing a game of horse, somehow I twist my left ankle, walk it off cause it isn't to bad, than I take another shot and I instantly twist my right ankle BAD, real bad... Nazeeh Johnson? Yea, I’m certainly pulling for him. For Nazeeh Johnson to win CB2 would once again mean an embarrassing wealth of riches in the defensive backfield. One observation though, his RAS score of 9.09 trails both Jaylen Watson at 9.21 and Joshua Williams at 9.43.
By the way, don’t count out Kelvin Joseph. With his 4.34 speed and 9.02 RAS he’s the kind of athlete Merritt can mold. Just give Merritt some time with Joseph and good things might happen. Although he might improve even more via the weight room, with a RAS of 9.50, including 4.37 speed, Miles Battle could be the best pure athlete of the bunch, slightly besting McDuffie’s 9.49 RAS.
Of course, to appreciate how to mold a great lock-down corner, consider L’Jarius Sneed with a RAS of 9.85. Just give Merritt something like that to work with and it’s, “hold my beer, watch this.”
As for Buggs, personal conduct discipline shouldn’t be capricious. Let’s just say he was released for lackluster performance.

Interesting to compare Rashee Rice with Isaiah Buggs. Rice is much more valuable to the team and gets more rope with which to hang himself. I get it, not all players are equal. Practice squad guys are living on the edge.
