Really excited to see these new cars out at Daytona!
Look up the test then
@@damienirvin777 will be better with all 40 cars
@Daniel G you're wrong lol
Trust me no you are not
@@damienirvin777 Well I’m going to the Daytona 500 so I’m going to experience them live
I heard 'next gen' car and thought 'OH NO, NOT AGAIN!' This car seems much better than their last attempt
All these Motorsport series coming with these next gen cars in 2022-23, NASCAR, Formula 1, V8 supercars, Formula E & IndyCar with there new engine. Exciting stuff.
To add to that list, in sportscar racing (Like the Le Mans 24 Hours) 2023 will be bringing a new type of car called LMDh. This year was the debut of the LMH category too. All of this could mean a golden age for motorsport, and hopefully bring in more fans across the board
@@NukeshotMedia exactly
What’s indycar doing new for their engines?
@@clewis3252 If I remember correctly, it's a larger engine capacity with more boost and a hybrid part. They are gonna make a lot of power
Wow! Dale seems really excited about these new cars. He seemed skeptical before during his podcast.
Agreed. Bowman Grey has him amped up to
he has to say only positive things about the car lol its his job. He says the car has way more grip which means the racing will take even less skill. Junk
@@pipper2281 i mean f1 cars have even more grip and it does not take any less skill, Thats just not how it works
@@pipper2281 No he doesn't lmao he isn't obligated to say anything good about it
@@cyjan3k823 if you're trying to compare F1 in any way to nascar then you clearly don't understand nascar
45 minute drive to the track and never seen it before. Wow.
He was going to different tracks
@@mikejohnson5491 nothing to do with what I said...
he seemed more into going to myrtle beach as a young driver, which is weird to think about after what he just said in relation to BGS.
They really need to get four cars out there and tell the drivers to bang on each other for ten laps or so and then separate from each other and try to drive them with actual race condition damage. Frankly, most cars with no damage and running in clean air drive well.
If Dail Earnhardt Jr. Approves the new cars! Good enough for me! Go! Chevrolet!
thats why they paid him to say it
@@thecoinroom3352 i guess you dont know Dale jr !! One thing he does horrible is lie and would more than willingly tell if he had any thing negative to say about the next gen.
What do you think he gonna say it suks lol paid spokesmen love that they taken away the pit crew now to with the lame f1 single lug
Nascar at Bowman Gray...I’d watch that
Hell yeah 🤟
On iRacing these are great cars on everything smaller than a mile and half track, makes sense that Jr would be saying this about them.
That’s because they were patched in updates.
And iracing isn't a fully realistic depiction
@@thunderchild685 close enough
These are the best days ever In a few years, we'll be looking back on 2021 and 2022 as the "Good Old Days of Racing." I'm 76 years old and having the time of my life..
Can’t wait for ‘22
SO excited for next season with these cars.
Anyone who thinks Jr is being paid to say that clearly doesn’t like the next gen car and is trying to push a narrative that nascar is trying to convince us that the car is good when it isn’t. Nascar wouldn’t put a car on the track that hasn’t been through its paces there’s a reason they delayed it a year there’s a reason they’ve done soo many test and made soo many variations Nascar is trying to get it perfect. just like when Nascar went to the COT and when Nascar went to the Gen 6. This isn’t your daddy’s nascar I’m sorry but its not but no sport no Motorsport has stayed the same over the years so why does nascar have to. Evolution is the key to survival and this car will bring us into the future and I can’t wait
I wonder what Dale SR would say
As a fan on the west coast. I need Nascar to make it's way west more. A thousand bucks every time I go to a Nascar race is kind of a bummer
These cars are designed to handle road courses better. So it should happen in the future
I live in San Francisco. Sonoma is close. I can have a very enjoyable day for under a hundred. Auto Club, Fontana, a little more. Phoenix and Vegas are also close enough.
It’s a shame Riverside isn’t there anymore. Wish I could’ve seen a race there during its hay day
@@johnnyquist8362 yeah I live in San Luis Obispo. I went to sanoma for the first time this year been to Vegas a lot but camped there for the first time this fall. Looking to go to the clash but for sure gonna go to Phoenix next year. Sanoma is the only reasonably priced race though for sure.
It’s not really cost effective to build tracks in California.
The car should have a wing and 750 HP at road courses to match LM GTE lap times.
That's a mighty fine piece.
Her are the car 🤣
If take her to meet ma.
Did anyone expect him to say something bad?? I’m not to thrilled about how it sounds in this vid. Please keep the V-8. Still a fan though.
It is a V8. Because it's got the X-pipe, the cars now sound like they did back in the 1980s
yeah dale
Classy guy. Took his shades off
Great video
So exciting!
I’m excited about this new car now!!
Love it!
🏁 🏁 🏁 🏁 Can't wait!!! 🏁 🏁 🏁 🏁
Can't wait
What really sucks is we're going to see brand new cars at the beginning of the year getting smashed up at that little track ..no worries though .. can't wait to watch
That doesnt suck man, that is the point of the race.
As opposed to brand new cars getting smacked up at Daytona?
at Daytona those cars might get absolutely totaled in a huge wreck. At bowman gray every panel on every car will be bent out of shape but atleast the chassis/motor will be intact
They said the same thing about the COT a few years back, and we allll saw how that worked out.
Dale Jr. Knows. What better person to test drive the next years nascar Camaro!
DALE JR. AT BOWMAN GRAY STADIUM SO COOL.
Amazing! Dale Earnhardt Jr. drive a next gen car
LETS GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe to see at the Clash
Better at everything while being alone on a small oval. Completely different than what it will be like in traffic on larger tracks.
I think he knows that.
Full time return to cup for Jr lets Goooo
haha
Only here for Alex Weaver❤️
Where else will there be testing??
the Charlotte oval next month. a test at Knoxville. I know a test that Daytona in January but might be another test or 2 i before years end
they should have cup championship drivers testing
It's basically a Australian V8 Supercar. Obvious differences, to get in a Supercar you open the door and get in, also they have air-jacks. Drive train and suspension is almost identical. I've wondered how much influence Roger Penske had as he has a Supercar team.
What I would like to see is an old fashion trophy dash after qualifying; take the top 4 qualifiers and have them run a dash race, invert them for four green flag laps - yellow laps don't count; and double wide restarts only Please. You want to talk about a barn burner of a race! Do something goofy for the win; like kiss a trophy girl, a big - ass trophy, and two fresh tires for the race at the crew's choosing to use at any time during the race (including the start). Lefts, rights, fronts or rears, pick the corners we don't care - any two tires.
Legendary track. Send the Trucks there.
Dale, Hallie Deegan has brought us to back to NASCAR,,,,,,,Hope she is recognized for her heart, smart.driving,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hope the guys support her
Weird how they didn't interview Stewart about the car 🤔
Next Gen 👍🏿
Was that the audio or was that on the limiter or what?
I think it was probably a limiter.
I 👍 this
Would like to see it at North Wilkesboro....
Yeah , he doesn’t have to fix them!
With the better braking etc, I think these cars are built to handle road courses better.
and hats a wry , I can watch any number of circit race on any given weekend from all over the world , cant watch many ovel races however , if they move away from those , I think they get lost in the crowd
@@stevensmith797 I can do the same with oval racing... would like to see something like a 50/50 split between ovals and road courses in NASCAR....Personally enjoy the NASCAR road corse racing more. than sports cars....More banging and bumping I guess.
@@robbieevans6536 Im the other way , Im from australia , we have v8 super cars , all circet racing here , then there DTM from the EU , british tourers , but only nascar on ovel , it the 1 thing that makes them diferent
That head tilt, she’s trying to get his attention.
Tony's lap times smoked Dales by a second. Iwas at the track Tony pushed the car and tires when he was out for 70 lap sprints He even gave us the thrill of spinning twice.
He was out for a Goodyear tire test so he was supposed to push the tires
I’m just glad nobody was killed
Ok but what does Tony think?
NEXT GEN. NASCAR
Jr. Is a father first and a family man now ..And a driver second priority for a long life... RIP PapPaw#3 your son is TCB.
Alex Weever the biggest smoke show of the day.
Ford Probe?
Alex is Hott!!
Of course he said that… just like NASCAR ignition 21 was going to be the BEST racing game ever 😂😂😂
try it on some real tracks they run on and see if he still feels the same, plus no other cars out there big difference.really ddint look like pushing it at all, sure on track like this bigger tires stick yes and bigger brakes stop better yes,but not a track they run on we shall see alot of other drivers have question plus i want to hear what Tony and Clint say
Except a certain new video game. :((
Well, Jr has spoken, and so shall it be done. Helpful tip NASCAR, mix your audio better ... B-roll with car sound drowing out the conversation not good.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. Says What He's Paid To Say.
Do you believe him when he says it? He is an announcer. Do you really think he is gonna bash it?
And of course, you're an expert on the way the car drives, right?
obviously not. That isn't the point. All I'm saying is he wouldn't bash it either way.
He's not driving anymore but we'll all still take jr's opinion over anyone else haha atleast for me
hey teLL us what YOU really think not what U think we wonna hear
I hope the new cars are more close to real street cars like they use to be in the past, people use to buy muscle American cars feeling they can take it to the track.
You know, that's the funny thing: Half the people are bitching that they're not like the cars you can buy in a dealership. The other half are bitching about the changes that are making them more like the cars you can buy in a dealership.
Hey Jr, what about all of that downforce you recently said should all be taken out of the new car? Did @NASCAR tell you it's time you got onboard?
Well I was worried about the coliseum but I feel alot better hearing tht
Ovals will be terrible but the road racing will be much better, need to get these new cup cars racing at Road Atlanta and VIR
Talladega
Glad Aussie V8 Supercar has made it to America.
This is the better version of supercar
That testing oval is just too small
It's the same size as what will be built at the LA Coliseum, so it's a reasonable substitute for a tire test.
I do not watch any more at all ..but they are super cool
I don’t believe him i’ll see what Tony Stewart has to say
good point Tony Stewart says everything from his mind even when it pisses people off
So what if tony says the same?
@@legolite45 this legit made me laugh my ass off 😆
Tony isn't getting paid by NASCAR as a broadcaster to talk about how great NASCAR is. He won't be worried about critiquing the product as much.
@@legolite45 lol chill guy, just making a point that that's literally what sports broadcasters are paid to do. Promote the sport. Sure they're all not all blatant mouthpieces like Jeff Gordon, but there is less at stake for Tony for being overly critical than Jr. Hell Tony has already pissed off NASCAR a little with SRX.
NECKCAR finally did something right. They took a page out of Sports-car.
Tony, Kevin, Kyle and Jr all on this track, cars that need to be "tested".... I'd pay to see that
So like every other failing motorsport it's taking the skill away from drivers and making it mundane and the lame single lug takes away from the skill of pit crews f1 boredom here we come ....... Nascar losing fans gen by gen .....
How big was the paycheck to say all that?
probably nothing
Like he would say anything negative about it.....
@@bowmanshowman48fan99 Lap up the corporate nascar propaganda there soy boy
@@bowmanshowman48fan99 Typical video gamer lives in mommys basement response.

Good PR Junior,

Did anyone pick up on Dale's wording. Its gonna take time for me to get use to.. what might this mean? Hmmmmmmm.. Dale doing more than just 1 or 2 races a year?
All I heard was blah blah blah brakes blah blah blah something or other....
It wasn't Dale's fault. Damn that Alex Weaver is so SMOKIN HOT!!!!
This is a short track! Tell us what you think after you drive it ob a 1 1/2 mile. Its going to suck.
@@bowmanshowman48fan99 Ok. Im sure you know all about racing. Any attempt by NASCAR to even out the cars screws up the racing. You cannot judge this car by driving it one time on a short track.
@@bowmanshowman48fan99 Arent you the one whining because you didnt like my opinion?
They said the same thing about Nascar 21 ignition. I’m not buying this at all.
You’re comparing this test… to the game… bruh😂
It may do everything better, but it sure doesn't look better
Nascar needs to get back to it's roots in short tracks. 60s 70s 80s nascar walked away from it fan base and abandon short tracks . As a result the lost a lot of up and coming drivers and fans who would have been exposed to nascar at a young age
That track is so small.
It’s just asking for trouble from a bunch of boys with fragile egos.
Imagine the "next gen" after this "next gen", no sound, and plenty of charging through the week. Makes you wonder.
Single lug wheel pit stops seem boring. Barely in the gas here, not sure how you get a feel for it.
Coarse hes gonna say he like it hes a nascar stooge
nothing stock about a modern day stock car
Absolutely not, and they haven't been in a long time.
Did you ever watch any clips of NASCAR races from the 1950s where some of the cars in the field had freaking plates on them..
So cool to see that. Obviously they were still highly modified vehicles, but they were real cars and street legal ish.
I would assume back then some of those guys probably drove their cars to the track?
That's why I've gotten into drifting a lot lately. Again obviously highly modified, but they're still street legal Factory vehicles out on the racetrack. Most of them registered. I just find that extremely cool to see LOL
They haven’t been for awhile Einstein
I mean would you rather have a wreck at 200 mph in a modern day stock car or a car straight from the dealership? I would guess you would like a car that is built for safety over one where you would most certainly die. I get your point, but things change and the safety side of things today are better for the sport.
@@vincentodomscatl24 abs now they can make their own body instead to add and remove what they need to.
@@SESKE_5 yeah it just makes more since to built it yourself with the manufacturer backing you. If they bought cars for dealers they would have to take them apart to add all the safety features. I'm sure the drivers are happy with the cars from a safety aspect. They can pretty much wreck and not get seriously injured or die 99.999% of the time. There's still a chance something bad could happen but it's very unlikely.
There's nothing stock about that "stock" car. been that way 20+ years.
@@bowmanshowman48fan99 my point exactly
Without the fenders it's more like f1 now ...
Change everything make it something completely different over night might lose some fans ..not that nascar cares
He is still not going to win to be the only one on the track
His opinion is overrated just like his whole career.
I would say his career is been pretty successful
@@25wsmfan56 you need 30 wins to be someone. He is just good.
LOL "does everything better" and then he says how it has way more grip. So that means the car is worse and the racing will take even less skill than it does with today's pathetic car
