The Cape of Good Hope (Afrikaans: Kaap die Goeie Hoop) is a rocky headland on the Atlantic coast of the Cape Peninsula in South Africa.
A common misconception is that the Cape of Good Hope is the southern tip of Africa, based on the misbelief that the Cape was the dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian oceans. In fact, the southernmost point of Africa is Cape Agulhas about 150 kilometres (90 mi) to the east-southeast.[1] The currents of the two oceans meet at the point where the warm-water Agulhas current meets the cold-water Benguela current and turns back on itself. That oceanic meeting point fluctuates between Cape Agulhas and Cape Point (about 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) east of the Cape of Good Hope).
An incredibly scenic area of the world with biking/ hiking trails throughout the park which (in July 2023) costs $20.00/ person to enter.
Wonderful, Two Oceans Restaurant, in the park, close to the point with wonderful views bayside.

Sorry, but I stand by my comment about $40 being very expensive to enter a park! Doubtless, there are parks in the US that are also expensive, and if I had visited any and made a video, I would’ve applied the same comment! As it is, entering the park, and Many people (certainly us) spend that much more money while inside the park, for example, restaurant, souvenirs, etc.
All that said, I do not regret having paid $40 for the two of us, and to the park, as a park itself is absolutely gorgeous… Just wish they didn’t charge so much money to enter these places 😊
