I built a jonsered 2152 , it's a pro saw and when I ported it I put an 8 pin rim on it 18 inch bar and chain and that saw rips !! I mean it'll surprise you when you operate it,
@@dubbssawshop I'm buying them up I have 7 so far I'm working on a deal for a bunch of 2186 in boxes they were logging saws that retired and taking apart and put in boxes
This 2165 flat out gets it done with a 7 pin 8 pin or 9 pin. I agree that it performs best with the 7 pin. Looks like a lot of fun. Great job Dubb's 🪓🌲😎
That saw rips. Am I the only one who has bar oiling issues with larger sprockets? With a 7 pin I have no oiling issues at all, with a 8 the oiler hole plugs up easily because there's a larger gap between the chain and tail of the bar allowing sawdust to get in the bar rail.
For sure on the 7 pin, the 8 and 9 pulls violently no doubt, but robs a few hundred or more rpm up top, and my thought is the few hundred extra rpm from the 7, makes up the speed difference of the 8 and 9 pin. That's where my thoughts goes anyhow.
👍👍that a ripper- nice work!

I have issues with Tsu Mura Bars all the time with an 8 pin. With a 9 I have to modify the whole bar, I cut the tail, move the adjuster and oil holes
That thing is a freak!
✌✌👍👍
Interesting.
👍🆙👽
Wut length bar ? Looks like 14 or 16 inch bar and chain
It's a 16" bar, running a Dubbs Custom Husqvarna C83 X Cut. 👍🏻
Impossible..short bd don’t work..and that’s why I like 7pin rims on saws under 80cc
