About a year ago Eric came to the church I was attending in Valley Center, CA and also spoke about his Book: "Is Atheism Dead." I bought a copy and Read it because this is my own Gift / Thing (that God has Made me Really Good at: i.e. Talking to atheists). And Below I will teach anyone who wants to know how God has taught me how to talk science with them in a way that makes them THINK.
I said some of this to Eric at church during the 40 or so seconds I got to talk to him.
"Eric, Not only is James Tour right about what he said about the science of how life (supposedly) began (all by itself) -- over millions of years ... blah blah blah ... but I have also looked into this because God made me do so (after I was challenged by atheist coworkers).
And what I discovered was that (what he meant my not moving forward but backwards) is that science (to this very day) still Cannot create All 20 amino acids from scratch ... using just chemicals --- so they could demonstrate how a single "protein" could be made. The simplest living thing has over 40,000 of them --- of 600 different types. It's also a parasite and cannot survive without a host to help it survive: it's called mycoplasma.
And although science has figured out how to make insulin (which is a protein), they use bacteria to do it.
So scientists cannot even show us how nature could possibly create All 20 amino acids (in preparation to make a single protein).
So far the most they have been able to make is 11 and they did it in 1953. They also were of both Left and Right-handed forms (Only Left-handed ones are used in living things), but they also had amino acids that are not found today in living things.
EVEN IF they could do an experiment that made ALL 20 different amino acids, they would still not turn into a protein unless:
A) All of them were only Left-handed amino acids
B) They were of the correct amount to make a protein --- and without contaminants.
C) To be Linked together (in a peptide-bond) they 1st MUST be Activated.
In living things, amino acid activation is the function of Enzymes. Each
amino acid has it's own special Enzyme activator: without which it cannot
be linked with anything. For those who Don't know, Enzymes are Proteins.
D). Even IF scientists could demonstrate how to do the above without the aid
of Intelligence, to make a protein all of the correct amino acids have to not
only be present, but also only Left-handed, and all activated, and all connected
in the correct order: just like I am doing with letters in this comment. It doesn't
just happen by itself, but takes intelligence.
This is what DNA and RNA do inside of Cells: Make proteins, lipids or fats, and carbohydrates on which life operates. We all came from a single dot (or cell) of DNA > . < Our First little DNA cell had all of the information (stored in it) that was needed to make our bodies. There is a very complex program behind that. Such a Program and "machine" must have been Created. This is Science. Atheism is Not based on Science but is rather a Religion: The belief in No God: or that Nobody Made us. Science Says that Some One Had To Have Done So. Eric is Correct.

This reminds me of a professor of chemistry I had way back in the day. He had a PHD and was very religious. A few of his students asked if he didn't find a conflict between science and religion. He said absolutely not.

He's an incredible speaker and author. I read Bonhoeffer, Amazing Grace, Fish Out of Water, Seven Women, Letter to The American Church, etc. I recommend his books, especially Bonhoeffer and Fish Out of Water, highly.

A few years back my friend, an atheist of german decent, was contemplating going into archeology. Her parents were atheist but she'd been more and more curious about Christianity and many of our discussions ended up about God, history and the Bible. I told her that was perfect because with every new dig comes more evidence supporting God and creation. I asked her to take pics and send me daily summaries and I'd write children's books on Heidi's Adventures in Archaeology with an emphasis on exposing God on Earth. Anyway, she changed her major and the idea went with it. But I'd still like to see kids more interested in this career and the discoveries that are unearthed.
My 8 year old granddaughter is interested! The universe is amazing!
I had a friend who eventually went into Cellular Biology but he started out in Paleontology. He dropped out and because he was such a gifted student they wanted to meet with him and find out why he was abandoning that degree. He told them 'Because what you're teaching is 2% Science and 98% Science Fiction.'

Another thing this was so good that I had to go back for a second plate. Listening to Eric talk about lightning bringing about amino acids or how do you get from zero life to life brought me back to the Bible when God said LET THERE BE LIGHT. Now that's enlightening.

Eric has written a fantastic book called Bonhoeffer! It’s a classic. The Daystar channel is both on TV and UA-cam and no doubt other places. Joni’s husband Marcus died of cancer a few years ago.

Yeah, but what about the content of the video? Nothing he presented was evidence of a god. He just took unknowns (like fine tuning) and acted like because they were unknown that proves we know the explanation is a god. Well "we don't know so that proves we know" isn't logical. It's a type of mistake called "argument from ignorance". We should care enough about whether our beliefs are truth to be unwilling to accept bad reasons for believing ideas. (Currently there isn't one good reason to believe a god actually exists.)

I’m going to 76 and I’ve been a Christian for about 50 years. My 77 year old brother took a class on the Bible in college because he wanted to know the truth. That class made him doubt everything about the Bible and Christianity. I just ordered your book for him. I told him I guess time is of the essence. Pray he sees the light. ❤

@@sl4983 there seems to be a growing problem with some seminary schools discounting the miracles of the Bible, focusing on the missing evidence that have not yet been found rather than focusing on what has been found, eg. Evidence of King David was found in the 1960s (I think) and before that, people thought he was a fairy tale. Same with the Hitite nation. Skulls of the tribes that were associated with the Nephilim lineage have also been found, and they ain't human - different skull plates and shape. The list goes on. Some seminary schools are woke and they twist the Bible to support modern narratives. Put that together with a trend towards governments wanting all pastors to have regulated training before they preach, and it could turn into a real problem. Trust God. What else can we do?

When I told people, for years, that atheism will be dead and atheist will need another reason to be called an atheist, because due to all the archelogy findings that proves the Bible is true, they did not believe me. But now they see for themself. What was said here on this show now backs that up.

I don’t have enough faith to be an atheist is a great book on apologetics great evidence, Eric is great, I have a similar experience.
This has helped me more than all of you could believe. Desiring TRUTH. After seeking Truth God puts puts the rest of the picture together. The love for truth protects one from deception. It's as if one now has clear vision after blindness.
One of the last steps before this hard-headed Jew jumped the fence and made Yeshua his Lord and Savior, was a movie called Math Unveils The Truth, by Oren Evron.
It's based on the academic paper of a professor at Ben Gurion University, and his work shows how scientific values for the the mass, circumference and angular momentum are embedded in the Hebrew numeric values for their Hebrew words.
He further shows how the atomic weights of elements mentioned in the Hebrew bible also correlate with their Hebrew numeric values.
The movie changed my life, because it convinced me that the bible could only have been authored by a sovereign God living outside space and time.

I think it would be interesting to note that not that long ago scientist discovered that within our DNA code there’s actually a message written in our DNA code that can be decoded and explain read, and it’s in several languages the same languages that the initial languages were the first languages. Also they can tell by looking at our DNA that there was a time when our DNA was definitely changed completely and they can also tell 100% certainty that it doesn’t occur in nature that way so basically they were able to see looking at our DNA where God created us and there’s no other way to describe it. This is clear evidence of proof beyond a doubt that we were created by God Almighty Creator of all things, the universe and everything that there is believe it because it’s 100% true.

The entire DNA coding sequence subject, versus "natural selection" and time...... is only emerging in recent years. This point is independent of the entire "God Code" being talked about within DNA strands.
To state it basically - the human DNA structure could not construct itself by "natural selection" in ANY amount of time, let alone just a "few billion years" (lol). In other words, it is impossible for random chaos to produce a human, let alone an eye, let alone the ever expanding complexity of even one basic cell. And that is just one species.
Darwins church, and Darwin himself knew nothing of what we now know about DNA, molecular and cellular structure.
The party is quite literally over for Darwins "natural selection" and all his minions.
Of course, those who believe in the Creator God already knew this, but now technology and mathematics proves Darwin literally has no story.
This DNA info is out there, but you can believe the evil ones will work hard to keep this out of our ears.

Years ago I was in a grocery store and I heard the checker ask the guy ahead of me if he believed the bible. The guy said no he'd never read it and the checker said. How do you know if you believe it or not if you haven't read it? I being an Avid reader checked it out and read it and didn't understand a thing.
I returned it and on the way home. I said to God if there was something in there you want me to understand You'll have to tell me because I didn't get it. Just a few feet later I found a track on the ground four Things god want you to know a salvation track i've never been the same. It's phenomenal it's like another world experienyes. The bible says when a person believes the veil is lifted. And it is like that it's a new world.

I found the science I have learned keeps the creator alive in my mind and heart 🙏
This happened to me twice. There was a group that one person came to me almost everyday to ask me about God as they knew I read the Bible. One day he asked me a question I didn't know even vaguely the answere to. I was about to tell him I didn't know when I started talking about his question. Then I wasn't hearing what I was saying yet I was totally conscious. I could think about other things and my mind was clear. All I knew was I was talking. This went on for several minutes then my talking was done. To this day I do not know what I said. This happened one other time about the same time frame. This happened about 20 years ago.
It made a firm believer of God out of me
That's happened to me in a way. I've been in the spirit talking with someone, and then what came out of my mouth was not at all what I was planning to say, but the Spirit was giving me the correct words, what HE wanted spoken at that time.
I think this is illustrated in Mark 13:11, Matthew 10:19-20, Luke 21:15. Granted we were not under serious duress at the time, but when He wants His truth and wisdom shared He can certainly illuminate our minds with His truth and yes, even speak through us.
That my dear friend that is the Holy Spirit. I have had on occasions during my speaking to Christian's, and to the lost. The spirit of God would give me such perfect words, and sentence structures. I would be marveling at what I was saying! And I knew beyond any shadow of doubt. These are not my words. And we're so eloquent! I even smiled and thanked God for using me to speak such a beautiful prayer! It is so encouraging when God"s Spirit speaks thru you! It's an honor and very special event to witness in your walk with our Savior!

Just believe in Jesus as your Savior and the moment you do that, you are saved for eternity. Believe means to put your faith in Jesus or to trust in Jesus. It is very simple. Nothing else is needed. Just believe that you need a Savior, that Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again. He is God's son who willingly died for the sins of the whole world. He completely paid the debt for your sins ( past, present, and future) and it is finished. There is nothing for you to do except believe. No works or good deeds for you to do. If you had to do something to be saved then Jesus death on the cross wasn't complete. But it was 100% complete, paid in full, finished. The moment you believe you are clothed in the righteousness of Jesus and the Holy Spirit comes inside you. The Holy Spirit will never leave you. The moment you believe you are saved or born again. Nothing can separate you again from God because staying saved doesnt depend on you, it depends on God. And God cannot fail. We will fail, we will doubt, we will fall, we will sin, but nothing can take you out of his hands because God cannot fail. There is only one sin that sends us to hell. That is the sin of unbelief. Once you believe in Jesus you are saved. It is a one time event. Believe in Jesus right this moment. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus blood covers all your sins, your sins in the past, your sins of today, and any sins that you will do in the future. As believers we will never be sinless but we will sin less and less as the Holy Spirit helps us grow and walk with the Lord each day. As a believer we can lose rewards in heaven because of sinning but never our salvation. Sinning as a believer hurts our fellowship with God and so the Holy Spirit will nudge us and show us our sin and then we can ask forgiveness to restore fellowship with God, but we are still saved, even if we dont ask for forgiveness we are still saved. Ecclesiastes 3:11 God has “set eternity in the human heart.” In every human soul is a God-given awareness that there is “something more” than this transient world. And with that awareness of eternity comes hope.
