@Mumborepairs Dear Mumbo repairs, I have a golf 6 dsg, and I have a problem that occurs when you drive it town especially when the engine warms up. There is a vibration when getting into gear 2. The other gears are fine. The vibration has gotten worse overtime. It is more pronounced when accelerating normal or fast but when you accelerate slowly it is not there. The shuddering also occurs when carrying a lot of weight. According to what I have been researching they said it a dual clutch dying. Can you please advise because I don't want to spend R25k on a clutch kit only to find out the problem is caused by something else.

Nope it’s an Aston Martin engine (4.2 or 4.3L) . The gen after (from 2016) use the 4l twin turbo M177 Merc engines

It doesn't even look like a MB engine that's probably a Ford/Jaguar engine in there
That engine is called an AJ-V8 from Jaguar. At the time Aston was owned by Ford. The engine was assembled in Germany
