- Nautica Voyage is a fresh and salty sea breeze,that carries romantic scents of coastal herbs and woods, and awakes the man's instinct to measure his power with wild nature. This is a fragrance for an active and romantic man who lives by his own rules. The face of the scent is TV host Caster Oosterhouse, a truly romantic person and a good nautician.
The composition opens with cold, green notes of leaves and apple. There is a tender dewy mimose in the heart, which is blended with watery note of lotus and an interesting accord of linen sail of a yacht. The composition is laid on a woody base, combined of cedar, moss, musk and amber. The nose behind the perfume is Maurice Roucel. The fragrance was launched in 2006.

Nautica Voyage N-83 by Nautica is a Aromatic Aquatic fragrance for men. Nautica Voyage N-83 was launched in 2013. Top notes are sea notes, spicy mint and petitgrain; middle notes are cardamom, nutmeg and lavender; base notes are musk, sandalwood and cedar.

Nautica Voyage user here. I just picked up N83 at my local Grocery Outlet for 15 dollars (a bunch of bottles were randomly on the shelf at the end of an aisle). Overall, I still prefer Voyage for the better longevity and green apple/cucumber vibe, but N83 is no slouch either, far better than Nautica Blue. Really liking that spicy lavender and green vibe, a little like original Bvlgari Aqva. I prefer Voyage and N83 all day over Davidoff Cool Water, which gives me a headache. Good review!
I own voyage n-83 and everybody around your friendly circle will compliment it and say it smells really good.. It's a good fragance and clean fresh fragance.. I'd yet to get the original voyage.
You can’t go wrong with either fragrance. They both smell great. Nautica Voyage is so damn solid for what it is! N-83 actually grew on me the more I wore it. I agree with you it is very different compared to Voyage.

I like Voyage a lot and see the N-83 version all the time and was wondering how it compares to the original so thanks for that. I wonder what the N-83 stands for, 83rd formulation maybe, ha! Thanks bro.

The best cheap cologne is not Voyage, it is without a doubt Aspen. No better deal on a great cheap cologne than Aspen in the 4oz bottle. If you wannna go even further, you can get a 3oz bottle of Aqua Velva Musk for 3 dollars and dit is one of the rare colognens that is also an affter shave.. The Aqua Velva Musk is super underrated, and you cannot beat the price. I think the second best deal is 4711. 4711 cologne is great, and you can get it for around 12 dollars. Yes the Voyage is a great deal, but not the best deal. I would choose Aspen and 4711 over Voyage.
I have the metal cap one, don't know if they are any different or not. Had it along time. I wear CK Eternity Aqua more. Cheap also. Great review as always James!✌

Enjoyed this review, I've been considering N-83 as my one and only experience with Nautica Voyage was when I sampled at a Kohl's about 3-4 yrs. ago and I absolutely didn't like it found it too salty and so forth, but was wandering what n-83 smelled like.. I am looking for cheap/low cost acquatic for casual wear. can you recommend some to me in case I don't lke N-83. Thanks and keep up the good work!!
