The ProApto Rimator suit is a Multispectral Ghillie system providing 2D and 3D camouflage in the Visible and the whole infrared spectrum. This sniper suit is primarily designed to offer thermal camouflage against any kind of thermal sensors, both cooled and uncooled, from rifle and drone-mounted Long wave Infra-red optronics to medium wave infrared sensors on UAS and vehicles.
Rimator Ghillie suit offers excellent optic camouflage performing effectively across multiple climates and biomes since the whole system allows to apply vegetation and additional 3D camouflage material. In addition, Rimator also ensures elevated concealment against Night Vision devices, both analog and digital. Indeed, the Rimator suit can offer unparalleled concealment from 50 meters of distance in the Near Infrared spectrum, while ensures optical camouflage from 200 meters of distance.
This multi-terrain counter-thermal camouflage can annihilates the most recent optronic devices, acting as in invisibility shield on the battlefield, concealing the soldier and maximising survivability.
Here an example of the anti-thermal effectiveness of ProApto Rimator suit. The operator is at 110 meters of distance from a vanadium oxide long-wave infrared microbolometer. The sensor resolution is 640 by 512 with thermal sensitivity equal to 35 milli kelvin. The environment temperature ranged from -2 celsius to 5 celsius. It can be appreciated how the soldier did not differ from the surroundings despite being placed in open field and directly in front of the thermal scope.
Rimator has a weight ranging from 3.5kg to 6.5kg packing down in the size of a winter sleeping bag. The Ghillie Suit does not thermally insulate the user while allows full breathability and maneuverability. The 3D materials is fire-retardant and extremely effective across the electromagnetic spectrum.
