Shakyel Arnold her clay matches she been playing quite bad like the Putintseva and Collins match to many errors and forehand is letting her down ! If she would of control her I force errors she would of won
West Coast eagles Fan true, however errors or not she could have won if she had a better fighting spirit. A young Serena had more errors then winners in some matches. She (Serena) still managed to win most of those matches... I remember when I played varsity my freshmen year in high school, I had tons do errors but I still became number 8 in the state because I choice to fight through the errors and bad head space. I spent a lot of my early years in tennis fighting back in to a match. I believe that she wanted to be perfect and the fact the match wasn’t going her way, made her fold at crucial moments in this match...
If you watched the match, you could tell Ash was getting frustrated because she made too many errors. But at the end, she still approached the net with a smile and congratulated Sim. There’s not someone who has better sportsmanship on the tour, she’s such a gracious loser.
I love Ashleigh Barty disappointed she lost but she fought Halep hard. Ash probably was tired she has played a lot of tennis. Ashleigh will learn from this loss.

Her topspin bh isn't a reliable shot offensively, but she is one of the very,very few WTA players with a offensive slice,she is very accurate with it and can put so much underspin on it the ball basically dies and either stops dead in its tracks or only bounces up ankle high,impossible for a flat baller to hit a offensive shot

Barty made to many stupid Erros and plus her first serve is off and her forehand let her down ! Feel like she’s truggling abit in clay ! Still trying to find her footwork ! Barty made 40 plus errors and gave halep the match ! Terrible match Barty you beat yourself

When you're a pusher (17 out of the top 20), you have to be absolutely at the top of your game in your footwork and consistency. Otherwise, you're leaking more and more and the match escapes you. Look at Svito's or Mugu's, recent results. Barty not up to it yet. Halep seems to be close to her top. I wonder if she can keep it up until the FO.
