Ok but the Tintin movie was a banger and I'm not the only one who thinks that its stylized realistic look wasn't off-putting at all and was in fact really cool.
I used to love reading Tintin comics, I guess I oughta check the movie out. I assume it doesn't feature any of the varyingly racist stuff from some of the comics?
I do recall him, occassionally, making jokes at his dad being boring or not great. It must be strange now to be a dad yourself. This ontop of all the times he's said he has hated kids.
As a father with little ones that require books to go to sleep, all I can say is. I get paid by the book, not the word. I love when a full page spread only has 3 words on it.
Fun fact: The co-director for this game is James Turner, who was responsible for designing a few Pokemon from Gen 5 onward. He also just has a genuinely cute art style and I love it.
5:17 I wasn't going to ask where the reviews of those games are, since I had no idea those had even released yet; I was going to politely ask if you plan on reviewing _The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom._
One thing I liked about the story's narrative is the character work with Humgrump, the main villain. He's explicitly established as someone who had a creative spark, but refused to learn or improve: whenever his first attempt at a given task or hobby failed to meet with universal praise and acclaim, he'd throw up his hands and sulk instead of persevering. On the rare occasion when he actually _was_ a natural talent at something, he would enjoy it until the moment someone outdid him, at which point he'd go right back to sulking. It's a digestible way of conveying a message I haven't seen before in pedagogic fiction, and I applaud _The Plucky Squire_ for that.
@@jmurray1110 Yeah, two weeks out'd be my bet too. Even if he burned through it in the two days it's been out (which is unlikely given the whole fatherhood thing) there wouldn't be a video out until next week at the soonest.

And, for me, "Wally" doesn't bounce off the tongue in quite a fun way as "Waldo" does, but I suppose the same, opposite feeling occurs to those who grew up with "Wally" when they hear "Waldo."
@@0neDoomedSpaceMarineit is. I have lived with my depression for well over a decade and I have learned many ways to cope with it. Thoroughly unsurprised and absolutely delighted to see the words "baby rape" and "buggery drill" somehow find their way into a review of a children's game
Children's books these days remind me of a classic quote from Strong Bad: "I mean, children can hardly read, how hard can it be to write for them?" My brother, who's got two kids, lamented how awful kid-lit had become by the early '10s (the kids are teenagers now-better you than me, bro!), I can't imagine how bad it is now.
