It's a nice time to go back in time. This music was pure, uplifting, nostalgic, and relaxing all at the same time. Whoever created this channel, I salute you!
This stuff really worked. I could enter Sears after work pissed off and in 15 minutes I'd be dance stepping up to buy records, candy or clothes. They want to make money again? Bring it back!
I can’t thank you enough for the channel! These sounds bring back such great memories! Takes me right back to 1977. Going with my mom or grandma to the grocery store or Woolcos. Much better days!
So relaxing...Reminds me of going to the mall in '72 and getting an Orange Julius, and then going to the Time-Tunnel Arcade to play Ghosts ‘n Goblins…and then to Taco Viva to get some burritos. Oh yeah, that sounds good right now.
This kind of music helps me get through my work days at the office. Been an empty office but me for a few days so I crank this puppy up and bask in this vintage age of great music! Thanks so much for posting these and making people happy! :) Bless you!
Your room looks like mine. Filled with vintage radios, cameras, phonos, etc. I have about half a dozen vintage rack stereos throughout my room. Seventies boomboxes and the like. I feel right at home listening here. Thanks!
26:08 Always True to You in My Fashion - one of my classic all time faves! Loved Blossom Dearie's version of this. I'm quite partial to Cole Porter & George Gershwin.
Great stuff! Thanks! I wonder who the musicians were? I'm guessing studio musicians who read music? The arrangements, chord progressions, as well as the wide range of musical instruments (strings, congas, flutes, horns, guitars, bells, organs, bass, drums, xylophone, various other percussion, etc.) are incredible! Remember, this was before digital recordings, so every "real" instrument was played manually by a musician, not a computer. The musicians, along with the producers and sound engineers were incredibly talented folks!
The third last track sounded like one from an artist who had tracks on BBC test card tape Summer Sunny Holiday. The last track was definitely a teck on BBC test card tape The Trolley Song.
That fan happens to be a 70s or 80s Galaxy brand fan. The blades are a clear deep blue color. The front of the base has a line of buttons to control the speed lol. My grandma had one when I was a little kid exactly like this... pretty sure it is still around somewhere.
I can picture myself be boppin along at the mall to find vhs kung fu flicks on discount. Im hungry. Lets check out the food bar and go to the restroom. Cleanup on aisle 3. We can just catch the matinee!
+WatchingDude I know, right?! I have a few 'regular' 16 rpm music records in my collection, and they don't sound as good as my Seeburg records. I wonder what Seeburg's secret was? I've discovered there are far more people interested in these recordings than I would have ever guessed, and I've actually built up a small fan base at work (though not through any deliberate action of my own!). I listen to CDs I've made of Seeburg records; a number of my coworkers have remarked that it's relaxing and it seems to make their day go faster. Even my boss has said positive things about it. Unfortunately, we're not allowed to stream music in the office, so we can't listen in on Seeburg1000.com. Who'd have guessed that this sort of music from 50 years ago would enjoy something of a renaissance today? Although one has to admit, they're probably just burned out on listening to the radio. I mean, I can only listen to the radio for a short time before I'm burnt out on the same obnoxious commercials played over and over, and the same talentless songs played over and over, and the same lame deejays making the same tired jokes over and over.
Good old days before you had the internet or woke garbage nonsense. Just regular normal days playing outside and not your phone and actual conversations in person.
Ok. I see your point of not playing one of the Seeburg records end to end, but I am innocently curious; if the selection you are playing is 3rd in play order, is that actually where needle is in the video?
the video is not synced with the audio needle placement wise due to the audio editing being done completely separate from the video. That is why in the description it states that the video portion is just for show.
Nothing is synced. The audio is captured then randomized into a playlist then I shoot 2 minute video clips of the various records I used in different angles to give it a cinematic look. Then I mix everything into iMovie then uplod it to youtube.
Ahh. I could sit in that room all day with some good food, good smoke, a nice window breeze, respectable quiet neighbors, and a starry night.

50:33 is Sweet Caroline by Ralph Boston. Not the Neil Diamond tune we’re all familiar with, but an original composition with the same name.

I can still smell the "warm electronics" air inside the arcade and feel the quarters jingling in my pocket waiting my turn to play the game.
Funny, in San Jose, did the same thing except the mall had Galaxy Zone and Taco Villa, my dad’s restaurant.
Ghosts n Goblins came out in 1985. Gaming was very different in the 70s compared to the 80s, so I'm not sure how anyone could get that mixed up 😂
oh waiter , two more martinis please. thank you.
The addition of the vintage oscillating fan to this video footage is priceless! Thank you for making my day! :)
vintage plastic fan made in China?

I can feel the cool breeze off that fan.
Ah. Nice. Real nice...like slipping into a warm brainbath...

Looks like a party going on there. !!
16 RPM on the record player in the video... Love it. I always wanted a 16 RPM record...
This music has the Ron Jeremy seal of approval.
Longest elevator ride ever.. '3' *Still going down* At least I got some jazzy tunes to listen to~!
Agreed :)
You have such an awesome Channel🦊 😉 you just got yourself another subscriber I'm hooked 😄👍 thank you so much for keeping this music alive!!
You're very welcome, glad you enjoy the content :)
Enjoyed the trip!

43:00 is Next Stop L.A by Alan Hawkshaw
Mulțumesc from România!
56:37 - Canario (Lado's Latin Combination)
Note: This lively disco tune also appears on the 1978 BBC Trolley Song tape.
Had an oscillating fan in my office in 1982!
This is one of my favorite selection of yours. Thank you for the music
The song at 43:00 is "Next Stop L.A". "Sunny Monday" follows at 46:02.
38:00 - neat groove
Yeah I like it.
Really enjoy these vintage music. It is even better if you can put the timestamps and the artists/ industry... and some behind the music works
The third last track sounded like one from an artist who had tracks on BBC test card tape Summer Sunny Holiday.
The last track was definitely a teck on BBC test card tape The Trolley Song.
I'm in the waiting room at the pediatrician's looking forward to a DumDum when it's over
loving all of these thank you for posting them
Your Welcome :)
This music makes me hot! Thanks for the fan. Nice way to cool off!

God I love this stuff.
Somebody with some clout should buy a run down mall and make it retro 70s. I'd go - heck i might even live there,
That would be Beyond awesome. And to really get into the era, people could dress up in 70s clothing and hairdos to go shopping at the mall.
I'm fully on board with this idea.
Beautiful !

Buen sonido, para lo antiguos que son estos discos de 16 rpm
Thanks
i love the song that plays at 10:38!
50:33 What is this song?
56:37 and this one too?
Check the section comment
The Ralph Boston band. They had tracks on BBC Test Card tapes.
@@dvidclappertonis this for both songs listed in @mmdudee15’s comment?

Notification bell = SMASHED!
21:29 Someone ID this song please
I was in a Braums yesterday and they were playing MUZAK! It was glorious... no lyrics to rape my ears.
No LPs were harmed in the making of this video.
i have that exact same galaxy fan
Cool :)
Benji The Rabbit Any seeburg Christmas music? Thanks
@@JOHNSTIER23 i dont have any but you should ask Fardemark
Lo-Fi goodness.
Would love to know the record details. E.g. In use date, record number, library (basic, mood, industrial). Thanks for uploading this.
Seeburg Basic 1975/1978 and Seeburg Industrial 1973
Also the record player being used for this video is a 1964 Newcomb AV-7 Classroom record player with a stereo cartridge mod :)
Fardemark Love listening to these old records. The sound you get out is wonderful so clear!

The intro music sounds pretty nice. Could you please upload this track, or give a link to it if you already did? Thanks
Good old days before you had the internet or woke garbage nonsense. Just regular normal days playing outside and not your phone and actual conversations in person.
Those are interesting complaints since they’re being made on the internet with a phone/tablet/computer. Get off my lawn!
Is the adapter in the center hole 3 D printed?
The record seems to be from the 1970's.
