- I meet Jessi Combs April 2019. That June she came to spend the weekend with Taylor and I to get to know what UA-cam was all about.
She was thinking about working on her channel and developing her own content around fabrication and racing.
She passed away doing what she loved in August 27, 2019
This Frame with the picture will be auctioned off March 16 2020 to raise money for her foundation "The Jessi Combs Foundation.”

Jessi was my favorite part of Mythbusters while she was on the show. And then later on when she was on Extreme 4x4. She was such a fierce lady and she was gone too soon. Great tribute to her. I think the photo is perfect.

The videos I love most is when you do something that makes me go "no no no, don't do that, it'll ruin it!" And then you come back and do something totally awesome on top of that thing that makes it look amazing. I was really worried about that leather strap for a bit. 😁

Over here in europe I only know her from tv-shows, but she always appears to be such a lovely person. To hear from the loss was absolutely heart wrenching. I think the frame fits perfectly. Well done Jimmy, I hope it raises a ton of money aside to be a wonderful memory!

There is a reason most people consider you to be a LEGEND.....i am in AWE every time i either stumble across something i have never seen before, or something new like this. It is a shame that we lost Jessi....but there is no other MAKER that could have honored her like you...

I meet Jessi at a show in 2006 and was impressed by her down to earth attitude and genuineness. It sucks she left this world far too soon but I glad that when she did she was doing something she wanted to be doing.
A fitting epic tribute build for an epic Woman. So creative in the design and final finish with a perfect shot of her...no words; just something I don't attribute to anyone very often, Mr. D. you are a man of Stature as she was a Woman of Stature! Slight nod and Hat Tip to you and her. Thank You!

This is a great tribute to a great lady! I never met her but from what I have seen or heard about her she was an awesome person. I think that she would be very proud to have a tribute like this made in her honor.

This came up in my feed and I watched it again. Very nice memories of watching her on TV with my kids.
Jessi was such a cool person. She really helped educate us all. She was our cool female shop teacher which was rare. Thanks Jimmy, for lifting her up so more people can know who she was.

Your still a magical window that separates stress from mayhem for a couple minutes. Rest in Heaven Jessi you will always be remembered as a tough woman with a great smile who would race you had the chance and laughed while you choked on smoke. We miss you. Jessi and Jimmy you are a hudini with the magical creation's.

Awesome Job Jimmy, Jessi was all that and a cheeseburger too when it came to, customization cars and engines. I followed her career from day 1, she was so knowledgeable, finished at the top of her class in automotive, she was fearless and had a big warm personality. The old school, steam punk frame and style is a great way to pay homage to a great person who is sadly missed by many. You certainly captured Jessi's style in your work, so appropriate. I know she is looking down, smiling and proud. 👍👍👍❤❤
All I know about Jessi is what you shared with us about her and yet I can't help feeling really sad that she is gone. I like to think that not only did she go doing what she loved but that thanks to you her legend lives on.

I'll be quite honest, jessi combs passing was the only famous person I actually felt bad for. Lots of little girls lost a great role model.

Dude, I'm happy and sad I didn't read the description on the video before I watched. Happy because it was a pleasant surprise to see her picture in that frame at the end. Sad because the world lost a great mind and a amazing roll model for young women when she passed.

Oh man... I still get sad when I see a photo of Jessi. And although she died while she was doing what she loved, it is still hard to accept that she only lives on in our memories and hearts.
