    So the genuine honda engine couldn't be built for more power why put a china engine on a Japanese bike .......not saying there is anything wrong with the gy6 engines just wondering

      The gy6 can be brought out all the way to 232cc with the right cases, and even with an untouched long block 150cc w/ bolt ons can go significantly faster than the stock get engine. With a radically modified get it's still slower.

    Is there anyone that can help me? Im desperate at this point. My GY6 scooter does not want to crank. I put in brand new battery after brand new battery but the scooter drains it when I try to crank it and drains it when its not even on. But if there is anyone that can help me contact me through youtube. Please and thank you.

      i dont know..i could be wrong but i remember when i was tyre fitting that tyres that had V pattern tread the V was fitted to run centre point forward...i think this was for water dispersal with car tyres...however its possible this is different for bike tyres...you have done a good job with the build by the way..

    Hey, did you find out whats wrong with the starting issue? I have the same problem. I cleaned the carb and changed spark plug & ignition coil. And itll start but die right after . Thanks!

    • @stillplayswithcars7782
      @stillplayswithcars7782  6 років тому

      looks like you have a different issue than i do. Mine was just a bad ground on the rear of the harness. Yours sounds like more of a fueling issue. Check to see if your fuel pump is working.

    • @veecruz6616
      @veecruz6616 6 років тому

      Danny Donaldson Photography thanks for the fast reply. Maybe its my pump because the fuel would drain back into the tank from the carb.

    • @stillplayswithcars7782
      @stillplayswithcars7782  6 років тому

      Vee Cruz did you remember to re use the check valve from your original engine? If not that’s 100% your problem.

    • @stillplayswithcars7782
      @stillplayswithcars7782  6 років тому +1

      last time i checked you dont bolt a harness to a car. you plug it in and press go.

  • @gmcjetpilot
    @gmcjetpilot 7 років тому

    WHY>>>???? "FAST"? OK fast for a 150CC scooter, which slow compared to almost any motorcycle.

    • @stillplayswithcars7782
      @stillplayswithcars7782  7 років тому +2

      Really? i never would have guessed that bigger engines in motorcycles make them go faster. SMH lol

    • @gmcjetpilot
      @gmcjetpilot 7 років тому

      My POINT! A fast 150cc GY6 scooter is SLOW..... anything can beat the snot out of it. They were never intended to be fast. Cheers.. LOL!
