Mcculloch H3000 generator

Made in the 1970s, this one features both 115v and 230v outlets. Capable of 2550w continuous or 3000w peak, when the 230v is on 115v work too but with limited current. This one has broken windings so it won't be doing any work.

What types of generators are these? Permanent magnet? Induction? Do they use capacitors? How is the voltage regulated?

They are permanent magnet. As for what regulates voltage, I would have to refer to the reaper manual on them.

Yep, you can literally see two exposed wires in the video.

Internally there coil was chewed up only allowing 60v to be produced however I will be returning to this one day to see what can and can't be fixed. I have the repair manual on these generators and want to get this running and producing power.

Yes, depends on price. Mine is a 3000 watt unit 120/240v so if you have the windings for one of them, aluminum ribbon, then I maybe interested.

I have a McCulloch H 3000 that needs both Stator coils replaced.

I got a mcculloch h2000 generator with everything intact but the coil wire if you are intrested
