"but I don't know enough about the Dark Arts to make them fully sized again!"
I want a dresden style book series starring Johnny now.
Slayed me!
hahahah
2:18 the look on everyone's face after Stephen says the back alley part.
The witchcraft bit made me guffaw out loud, as I was just then noticing that Ross is looking more and more like a children's book wicked witch every day.
Angelica Huston in The Witches?
I immediately thought it must have been model citizens
I get the impression that the second mention by Johnny of getting drunk put a bit of a downer on Stephen?
Well johnny has serious problems with alcohol abuse, so an empathic reaction from stephen is understandable
The very model of a modern major general, surely
Find it slightly odd that I didn't come across this clip until after moving from Wrexham to Hatfield for Uni & landing a job in Welwyn Garden City
2023... on a Shappi Khorsandi binge...
I remember going to welwyn garden city years ago, I think I had to change from a train to a bus there. It seemed like so strange to have the word 'city' in the a title when it is actually a town. I guess one day it may become a real city
On what grounds do you base your guess that Welwyn Garden City will some day become a 'real' city?
I have to ask, because I've mentioned it to my bookmaker, and he's offered me surprisingly good odds!
Will it it's a "garden city" which is a town planning movement
Did we ever get an answer to the question?
What did Amy Johnson do that the paper felt they had to get rid of her?
She crashed into the sea.
The description is about May 3rd but the video was published on May 5th.
What a disgrace
Absolutely incomprehensible. I am so discombobulated
Where did those two days go? I demand an investigation!
No-one offered 'Little Englanders' as an answer?
**KLAXON**
Why should they, since this is a grown ups programme....:)
@@Trillock-hy1cf I'm a grown-up who watches grown-up television programmes like QI, I would have definitely said that answer. Not for the laughs or the klaxon but because it is, in a way, the truth.

Sorry mate, I had almost forgotten about this episode, and can't remember what all the fuss was about, but don't have time to watch it again, and you are probably right...:)
I think what Stephen means when he says "beaconscott" is Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire. There is a model village there.
The model village at Beaconsfield is named ‘Bekonscot’, though...
@@huggleton Ah ha I see that makes sense.
Holy interlacing, Batman!
Is it better now, because I don't see it?
Jonathan Reyes Try for instance around 1:20, look at the hands. In case you’re still interested.
But what kind of people lived there?
Anyone thought it was a village full of human models?
Always hate this trope that if you read a paper that others dont like you are automatically dumb by association
It almost baffled them that they for a second liked the Daily Mail for once having a progressive stance then felt disgusted at themselves for appreciating it lol! You realise for this brief second that they are righteous hypocrites priceless...!
When exactly did they feel this? How do you know what they were feeling?
And the fact that you say 'for once' just shows how awful the Mail is normally.
If anyone wants a good laugh, go take a look at 'Lord' Debrick's youtube channel, good god.
Just glad to see my initial assumption to the QI question, 'Tiny Cunts', is being absolutely reassured!
@@Aldrnarii everyday I wake up and ask myself 'how stupid can we get as a species', and everyday I come away with a different answer. And this particular UA-cam profile might just take the cake.
