I remember when Megan Fox blew up after the first Transformers movie when I was like 13, and celebrity gossip magazines were obsessed with trying to find something “wrong” with her because how dare she look so stunning! Anyway, eventually there were articles claiming “We all thought she was perfect, but have you noticed THIS part of Megan Fox’s body??” Her thumbs. Tabloids were criticizing her for her thumbs!!! You can literally be one of the most stunning people in the world and there will still be people out there trying to make you feel insecure about something
To me, finding an imperfection in Megan Fox made me feel better about myself. Maybe it shouldn't have, but it shows that even those born with amazing looks have their own imperfections. Tom Cruise was another. I dont personally find him attractive, that's more my mom's generation, but seeing that he has "a middle tooth" showed another "attractive" person had an imperfection. Especially because he apparently has one of the most symmetrical faces.
Paranoia about one's looks has been around forever. My 97 year old Grandma hated her (cute) nose so much that she used to sleep on her face in hopes of "squishing" it into shape.
I've always been judged for my acne and my nose it has always made me feel insecure once i even had my own mother say "just cover it with make up" because i got bullied for it and had my own little sister ask me "if she's pretty enough" so thank you for making this video
Idk if you read my comment on your other video, but this video is EXACTLY what i meant! 🎉🎉🎉🎉Expose the bs on tiktok that isn't widely talked about, while still adding your sense of humour to it. I LOVE THIS!❤❤❤🎉 Im excited to see more! This was really awesome and something i wasnt aware was going on. I wanted to point out one thing: that guy said "start this as early as possible", and that really sickened me. There are 10-12 year olds watching tiktok that are going to think "omg i better start doing this now or im screwed in the future". Shame... Lastly, Happy New Year! 🎉👑🎈
My problem is i know stuff like this [the tiktoks not you, your stuff is great] is stupid but i end up thinking to myself ''do other people think like this?'' which of course is probably just as damaging thinking the world is going to hate you just because my heads on upside down or something. glad to be proven wrong lol
I’ve been insecure about my skin for years, but I literally can’t hange that I have oily skin and I’ve realised that now, I think a healthy person will glow more than plastic surgery and such
The funniest thing is, the first vid trying to force a hollow jawline structure - I genuinely had that 10 years ago, complete with a robust square head shape that could rival 2016 WillNE, when I was borderline underweight due to my metabolism, but nobody wanted that jawline (it certainly never garnered me any positive attention). Fast forward to only 5 years ago and I found out my jawline is objectively bad (I need surgery to correct my jaw due to an underdeveloped maxilla bone that lead to an overjet). So yeah, I am conclusive proof that beauty standards are bullshit as they are subject to change, and 9/10 when you should be an Adonis, you'll be overlooked, and after those Adonis features are gone, they'll be in popular demand.
For some reason most humans, when they look at someone's face, only focus on the left half (from the viewer's point of view). I like little bits of cognition trivia like that, But yeah, so many people praying on vulnerable people out there. That's not to dismiss people who do have concerns about their appearance. But this sort of crap is not good for anyone's mental health, and certainly won't assist anyone in overcoming their anxieties.
I personally think tiktok has helped me be more confident in myself based on my fyp. I also have felt better as a mum and really have found the communities and people that aren't negative. It all depends on who you find. The first video as well I didnt get the sense he was saying you are ugly without it but i do understand theres a lot of advertising and im not sure if he was trying to just make money which is not okay on the products that are bad for you. As someone though with terrible posture and mild scoliosis i kind of need that brace thingy. Not because im insecure but to try and get a better posture and also hopefully get my back muscles stronger i guess.
Ok so first clip, bit mad but i can literally tell you about these products 😂 I bought the "Posture Corrector", waaaaay back in like 2020 cause i was sitting gaming more often and my posture was fkn ass lol, --- its shit it doesnt stay in position. Waste of money. The first mouth piece he used was advertised as a "double chin toner" so i thought id give it a bash hahahahah.. i definitely felt it working my muscles but it eventually was overworking my jaw way too much bc its not made of flexible enough material and is VERY firm. It was definitely working but it was painful, but not the way that working out should be
Please read all of this before saying anything That 1st one, I just used to do with my teeth, and that was in 90⁶s. it was a more for funny thing, than trying to look better, it never crossed my mind as away to make me look better. Sorry but I just looked good at school, and there not my words, (girls who hung out with us) and I was told I could be a model. Like I said I didn't say it, that's just what girls said to me. That was another thing I was told at school was I had a button nose. Don't even bring my teeth into it, they were like train tracks, dead straight with no fillings, It wasn't my fault, but that's just how I looked. I'm now 48, and I'm still classed as good looking, and it's not my fault or words either, as I've had and still got severe mental health problems now, and I've been clean for 4 years this new years. All I can say is no matter ⁵how good you looking or you 😅thinking you are or your friends think you are, it doesn't matter, apart from what's going on in your head. So happy new years to everyone out there, and just love your self for who you are. Cos I was Severely self-conscious about the way I looked when I was younger and still am, at 48. You need to just love yourself, as its taken me 30 odd years to work out. Don't blame me %or spelling or grammar mistakes as I'm still getting over Xmas and getting ready for new years So haply Xmas and ne=t new years to you all. 🎉😂😢😮😅❤😊
gen x in the house you will regret wasting your time on feeling not pretty enough when you get older. when you look back at your own pics when you were young, at your 40 's then you regret doing this and you will see how cute you realy was. feeling insicure is normal being young, but please try not to let this ruin one of the best times of your life love from Rotterdamn
Joey the anime guy did a video on vice Asia anddd a 8 year old girl’s mother basically told her little girl she was ugly and convinced her to get double eyelid surgery 😢
I hate the mention of the button nose thing, I’ve got an actual button nose but the ones that are celebrated all have these little skinny tips in the ends and a lot more bone in the bridge.. I got bullied for 10 years because of mine and I am so so insecure I’ve had to try to rewire my brain the past 4 years because my son has the same nose as me and I’ve had to learn to accept mine because he is so beautiful and I’ve had to realise there is nothing wrong with my nose, it’s been a big curve but meanwhile when I’m trying to heal there’s all this social media on button noses and I just don’t get it 😅
As GenXer WHY TF are y'all believing everything on the internet? 🤦♀️Also, I asked my other half about how women think men look at them and critiquing them next to perfect woman - he said "WTF - Y'ALL CRAZY!!" My man has a large roman nose amd it's SEXY AF!!!! 👍💕🙏🏴 XX
i used to be insecure about not having a defined jaw line and i fell into this trap, and i fully believed i need to get rid of my double chin as i got older i realised that other people around didnt care and that now as a 19 year old i dont care what tiktok people are saying and i just live my life to the fullest, anyways moral of this story folks dont listen to other people and if you really want to change your appearance to make YOURSELF! feel better then do it but dont always believe everything you see online especially tiktok!😊
I've been making fun of my friends for doing this shit for the last like year, i dont really get it. Like yea its cool to like look better i guess? but like idk just work out do a little cardio like everyone else lol
I mean I am 19 And Male I have spots on my face and two permant Chicken Pox scars from when I was a Boy, Do I give a crap not really, I have bags under my eyes again not caring. It is what it is. Girls like my Eyes apparently I'll take it. To me I am strong minded and I could tell you what Football is on but not what my eye tilt is. Hence I just create a Young looking Male Manager on Fifa
Personally, I was heavily addicted to the looksmaxxing trend, I found out that alot of extremist things I was following was mentally draining. Although some things can be helpful. Being a teenager it helped me with the side of beauty products and helped with basic hygiene. If you are ever worried about how to maximise looks, it sounds simple, but most of the people showing you how to look like them, THEY WORK OUT or have GREAT GENETICS if they're skinny and lie to you with unrealistic before and afters "transformations"
i really love bone structure like its soo hot i google bones and i cant help it staring at the bones at school the skeleton display is soo hot the rips
Very stupid to try an convince everyone they need to do XYZ to be perfect , I’m older, not old ,but older than probably at least half the people watching this vid I’m the only person from my high school that hasn’t spent thousands trying every anti aging cream on the planet just normal moisturizer, wash face at night, sunblock, etc an I look as I’ve aged the least, also tugging on your skin to get rid of nasal folds/wrinkles? Will have the opposite effect unless your 23 or less, otherwise stretching your skin an rubbing away folds is just stretching your skin, the only semi weird thing I’ve done or do, is when wiping my face or putting moisturizer on I always do it in upwards motion ( some very pretty old woman who looked young told me to do that as a kid an it stuck with me lol) Also I’ve never looked at a man an thought jaw not square enough, eyes not right shape oh gawd a nasal fold. Be a good person you will attract partners that way
It’s not easy for some people like I have a lot of trouble worrying about what others think but I always remember that my happiness matters more than trying to please others and I try to spread that message to others too even if it’s struggling
I am not encouraging luk maxing but sometime locks matter if your pretty people treat you different everybody likes pretty girls handsome guy iam not gonna lie girls supporting psycho killers just he's good looking guy
Love ur stuff. But I'm 45 2 kids later I love my body. It made new humans. Don't care that I'm now over weight don't care I'm growing grey hair. Look what I made.
Soz I was brought up getting told I was beautiful. So fck anyone that thinks I'm not. Ur raside to be strong and beautiful. U think different ur up bringing
My ex gf was obsessed with looksmaxxing and she in the nicest way possible is one of the most mentally unstable people I’ve ever met also really controlling and toxic not that every mentally ill person is like that because I have been in the past and I wouldn’t want to imply they all are bad people but I’m glad more people are starting too realise that most people who follow trends like these are sick and very insecure defo in need of support because it’s wild people are still believing these looks maxing people are just sad and honestly it’s better to just not engage with these trends even if you are insecure the best thing you can do is not join in trust you are automatically doing better than these people will ever do in life because they are so fixated on their appearance.
i deleted tiktok a month or so ago mental health has improved drastically not to mention i’m not scared of getting old why’s it considered to be that bad of a thing? oh right because there’s always something to be sold wether it be anti aging creams or plastic surgery tiktok amplifies it so much it’s crazy definitely won’t be going back on there anytime soon 🤍
I remember when Megan Fox blew up after the first Transformers movie when I was like 13, and celebrity gossip magazines were obsessed with trying to find something “wrong” with her because how dare she look so stunning! You have to admit, it definitely helped someone, like a 15 year old girl was looking at her thumbs and was like , I’m hotter then Megan fox
also she was literally 14 when they filmed that
To me, finding an imperfection in Megan Fox made me feel better about myself. Maybe it shouldn't have, but it shows that even those born with amazing looks have their own imperfections.

I dont need tiktok to hate myself, ive been doing it since 2000 😂😂😂
Paranoia about one's looks has been around forever. My 97 year old Grandma hated her (cute) nose so much that she used to sleep on her face in hopes of "squishing" it into shape.
Stop that’s so sad😭

Recently found your channel and have been binging your videos. You are very morally right and i agree with everything yoy say for any topic ❤

really well done video, your commentary is spot on! happy new year
My Mrs has hooded eyes, and I think she's absolutely beautiful. I personally love her eyes
For some reason most humans, when they look at someone's face, only focus on the left half (from the viewer's point of view). I like little bits of cognition trivia like that,

this video helped me a lot, you’re an awesome creator
thanks for your sacrifice haha - I'd go nuts if I was spammed with these
When I worked for a photographer we did look at people to figure out which eye was smaller, so we could position people so it would be less obvious
That first clip really made me ask one question. Why didn't he grab the rest of his mail when he got that package?
He just wants better sucking skills haha
Looked like mostly flyers and crap anyway😭

I'm not a poster on social media, I don't get how these people are comfortable making these videos. I would be embarrassed.
thanks for covering this bc pretty sure 99% of the world don’t care about if u don’t have a sharp jawline, or downturned eyes lmao it’s so stupid
shit lol. it's going getworse, next I be told m baby is weird looking. he's a cat
Let's be fair, Incels are a personality type and not based on looks.
The goat has returned from the cat cafe
Please read all of this before saying anything

Ngl I find Looksmaxxing hilarious I don’t take it seriously at all it’s mainly just memes from my side of view
Joey the anime guy did a video on vice Asia anddd a 8 year old girl’s mother basically told her little girl she was ugly and convinced her to get double eyelid surgery 😢

No relevance to video but something about you reminds me of Dobby from Peep Show, all love ❤️
Is that Matt Rife's son in first video?

Ur fingernails are the wrong shape so you shouldn’t be saying this 😤😤
kat are you okay? why you put yourself the most cringe inducing clip? again are you okay ??
Are you aware the title of your video is "Tiktok is that make you insecure"?
Your misuse of the apostrophe... is annoying
Otherwise good video
Elphaba must be banned or quit tiktok for this to be the upload.
