The main character is called Guy? Wow, they made the Aoe2 mod "grand theft horse" into a standalone title.
Guy is a real name, though.
I mean, in French, it's a name that can be heard (said "Guee"). It has no relation to the word "guy", because it's an English word.
@@Poodleinacan I know that. A fictional French general who served in the hundred years' war was called Guy Josselyne, who appears as a hero in Age of Empires 2, which had a "gta in the middle ages" style mod, with him as the protagonist. That's what i was referring to.

From the looks of it, it's almost there. The idea of a medieval GTA sounds great, and maybe this game just needs to fix "minor" issues. Thanks for the review KC!
I do hope the devs stick with this concept and try to improve on it further, it has the potential to be a truly unique experience.

Honestly absolutely loved this game it's story is hilarious and really enjoying it. Really feels like a video game

yep, but soon as you let off the movement, horse stops instantly lol

I saw the game at a Walmart. I was intrigued. It might be an eventual purchase.

Cool idea, but I wish they hadn't gone for the old-school top-down design. I've never played a game of that type where I wasn't constantly having issues navigating due to how little terrain was visible, relative to my speed. But who knows, maybe we'll get a GTA3-style sequel someday.
Are you one of those people who spams real time with pause games to say how terrible it is that they're not turn-based, as if it's somehow offended for people who want that genre to get served too? :p
think the guy meant this was GTA2 and before. fairly sure our man here said GTA3. but top down had several titles. but three wasn't. kinda like the rumored/canceled 2.5 GTA from 97-99 (Isometric version of vice city). mindblown?
Tempting right w/ it being only $3, though i won't have much time once friday comes around since i'll be absorbed in SW Jedi: Survivor if i grab it since the sale ends on the 27th.
I bought it for 3 during the Xbox live sale. Totally worth it. I would pay 20 for it and feel I got my money's worth.

The review was a little harsh but accurate. It is simple but fun. Something new but also old. A full scale gtaV adaptation of this would be AWESOME. A Guy can always hope. 3/5 🐴

I know this is a stupid question...are the Switch game controls posted anywhere? Picking objects up is a mystery for me.
Grand theft horse, very interesting
On ps4 - dealing with a bug/glitch that disables every quest, side quest, activity and even saving at your house after getting 5000 gold for a quest. No idea how tk get past it so the game is effectively over for me.
I wouldnt buy it until they patch up their mess. Until then its basically a glorified demo you pay for.

I've been playing this game. Tis' quite charming and alot of fun! The only thing It's missing Is multiplayer (PvE).
ok finding it today but ps5 (I know ffs I'm late to ps5 I'm old poor and ps4) but then this review. yep gonna buy a ps5 ... wish me luck.

🤦🤷 why's it feel like every game on switch had the animal crossing style dialogue I hated I'm like voice actors are much more appealing if done right tho. Is it worth 3$? And is it ok for kids 13yr old? Or too violent maybe
Just bought this game for 50 cents. Cant go wrong with 50 cents i guess haha.
The contols, the sound, the gameplay: everything sucks! I paid $3 for it and i still feel ripped off. Deaths are cheap, upgrades/skills are worthless and there is hardly any music, except distorted trash. Dialogue is like cavemen talk. GTA 2 had a great soundtrack, cars and guns. This game has nothing but horse shite
