My 11 year old knows what grooming is, how it happens, how people lie to gain trust, how anyone can pretend to be someone else, and how easy it is to kidnap and murder someone. TEACH YOUR KIDS not just about strangers but that people they know online could groom and manipulate them and coerce them. We started these conversations by 8-9 years old.

They're at home, I supervise their online use, the 2 family/kids PCs have always been in the den, & the other in the breakfast nook, out in the open. I pay the cell phone bills, & can see who they are calling, or who's calling them. But I don't have to worry about it, because my kids are educated to the dangers of such things- BY ME. So, they understand why & that they don't want anything to happen to them, as much as I don't.

If you think these are bad, i highly, HIGHLY suggest watching the trailer for 'camp hideout' i was crying laughing in the movie theater bc they just kept saying random shit that i think was supposed ro be the plot? It felt so long but i still didn't learn what the movie was about.

I'm in my mid-40s, so I grew up watching Kirk Cameron in Growing Pains. I thought he was a shitty actor back then, and it doesn't look like he's gotten any better. I never would have thought he would have a career acting decades later. I guess Christian movies have lower standards than real movies.
