    Loved your review of this lens, Luca - your video clips, stills, intelligent comments spiced with some humor, and your production quality/music choice ... and it comes at a good time, as I've been considering this model to add to my R5/R6 kit. I've liked and subscribed.
    And ... I envy you for having a friend as attentive to your passions as Gina!

    Intanto complimenti Luca! Felice di esser dei vostri. Una preghiera: la soluzione migliore per far andare al meglio la serie r summicron su BMagic 6K? Con semplice adattatore EF (avevi scritto in un commento) "mantenendo la messa a fuoco ad infinito..però è meno solida come soluzione". Sostituendo invece la baionetta con leitax è pressochè perfetta e "funzionante" in tutto e per tutto con qualità inalterata (in manual focus naturalmente)? Qui in Italia è possibile con leitax? Ho preso intanto 2 Leica r f2 summicron 35 e il 50 in attesa che mi arrivi la 6k. Ti prego, illuminami se "con poco" è possibile trasformare le lenti il più possibile in cineversion, diciamo così, e poterle usare al meglio. Grazie in anticipo e GO ON così!

    • @LucaBono.Studio
      @LucaBono.Studio  3 роки тому +1

      Ciao Peppe! Grazie mille, gentilissimo! L'unica soluzione è l'adattatore permanente leitax, altrimenti perdi il fuoco ad infinito...il tuo problema è l'ef mount della pocket 6K. Magari la nuova Sony FX III potrebbe essere una soluzione più semplice per adattare lenti vintage.

    • @giuseppecalifano2575

      @@LucaBono.Studio Grazie di cuore. La destinazione è comunque obbligata per la bmcc6k (molto probabilmente la Pro, a breve).
      Pare che Leitax spedisca anche in Europa, quindi si può risolvere.
      E chissà se la Pro potrà ospitare meglio e avere meno problemi della 6k..?
      Comunque con Leitax, diventa a tutti gli effetti usabile, non perdendo nè fuoco infinito, nè crop etc?
      Perchè guardando sul sito la spiegazione circa Leitax/Leica r -> Canon si rimuovono le viti e si va semplicemente ad aggiungere ed avvitare sulla baionetta Leica la baionetta di leitax ..quindi comunque, anche in questo modo, differisce da un qualsiasi anelllo adattatore (che va ad aumentare comunque la distanza? Grazie assai ancora d cuore ❤️
      ps. le tue origini sono per caso abruzzesi (come per me)? :)

    Great review my does. Does the 24 match the rest of your R set pretty well? Regarding contrast and color? I really like how R leans more green then magenta and low contrast. Hoping 24 does as well.

    Lovely video’s on your channel Luca, nice to see lens tests with faces in my country with the same camera system actually (s1h). This speeds up my (endless) search for vintage glass of which I own too many already. If you have questions regarding anamorphic lenses hit me up. Subbed!

    Thank you, Luca.
    1. You have very nice film making skills. I need to study your videos so I can make one.
    2. I came to your site because I have decided to buy an SL. But, I have not decided on the Leica lens. Like you, I collect vintage glass. But, I have no Leica glass.
    I most do street interview headshots, so a 50mm is a normal thought. But, I do also like to move in close for flowers, leaves and berries...so, not sure which lens.
    3. A big thank you to Gina. Your story about her is real "soul."

      Thank you for watching! Regarding the price, it depends... they're getting more difficult to find. Maybe 700-900€...the gap with the 2000€ 19mm is too much, so the 24mm will get more value soon.

    Very nice images Luca. The colors are reallly good. I love my 50 mm R Summicron with my Fuji. It really comes alive in post, when I push the colors. That's why I started looking for the 24mm to get a 35 mm equivalent on my Fuji. The price makes me wonder if Im not better off with an M Mount lens as an entry into the M system.

    • @LucaBono.Studio
      @LucaBono.Studio  2 роки тому

      Hey! Thanks for your kind words! I really like this Leica 24mm and you could check the Leica M mount version of it (it will capture images with a totally different look than the Leica R version).. but, imho, there's nothing that can beat the Zeiss Classic ZF 25mm F2 in terms of image quality & character at that focal lenght. It's a very rare lens because Zeiss doesn't produce it anymore and who own the lens, is not going to let it go...but keep your eyes open for it! I've a comparison video on the channel where you can see how it performs next to the Leica R 24mm F2.8. Ciao!

      @@LucaBono.Studio Great tip Luca, I'll look for it. I am trying to find the right balance between character and sharpness that you get from full Leica system, but with my Fujis. The 50 R, is bringing me so close.

    The Leitz/Leica-R 24mm 2.8 Elmarit are designed by Minolta ! Too many do not recognize how good Canon FDN Lenses are, try the Canon FDn 24mm 2.8, I have it, an excellent Lens ! I do not use it anymore because I now only use the the superb Sony 24mm 1.4 GM which may be the best ever 24mm !

    • @LucaBono.Studio
      @LucaBono.Studio  2 роки тому

      Hi! Yes I know that Minolta designed this lens... I can live with that. I had the Canon FD 24mm f2.8, it wasn't bad, but I much prever the Leica. Yes the 24mm GM is a wonderful lens, I agree! But I'm happy with the Zeiss 25mm F2, if I need cleaner images, and the Leica 24mm f2.8 if I need character.
      Thanks for watching!

    If you can't find or afford this lens then get the Minolta Rokkor MC 24mm 2.8 as this is the lens design Leica used for the Leica R 24mm 2.8
    Oh and it uses a 55mm thread too, should cost $200 instead of $900 for the Leica.

    • @LucaBono.Studio

      @@LucaBono.Studio Leica, also bought the glass from the same factory as Minolta not just the design. The Tomioka foundry later bought by Kyocera provided the glass billets for many lens makers including Zeiss, Leica, Minolta, Chinon etc. The main difference between the Minolta and Leica 24mm here are the, lens polishing, coatings and obviously detailed quality control of Leica's manufacturing process.
