This is NOT normal. Toyota has issued a fix for this at no charge. Have your dealer apply T-SB-0042-22 in the USA, or T-TCI-5516 in Canada
Hmm when I asked them about it when I had it in for service a while ago they said that it's normal. Maybe since then it's not. I will ask when I'm in for service again. But least I have this video as proof.

They have refused to fix mine
