Omg Adam! Awsome number on just stage 1 E85 tune! AND STOCK BUILD!!! Insane power gains already. 💪 Is that little power loss coming from fuel pump issues? I'll bet my money on that.
@@nightbotmyassitsllamabacka1361 yes. I'd recommend no higher than E70 for optimal performance, but yes. No fueling upgrade is required to run ethanol.
@@nightbotmyassitsllamabacka1361 well first off not all E85 is actually E85. It may test at only 51% depending on the gas station and the pump. You have to look for the labels on the pumps that say what percentages it may fall under. I always recommend people install ethanol sensors on their cars when they want to start using ethanol. This is what we went with: ua-cam.com/video/jhhMuyeOeE8/v-deo.html You can also manually test your fuel with an ethanol tester. Something like this: a.co/d/hwzFcYK Lastly if your pump does actually spit out E85 you can simply add some 93 or 91 octane fuel to it to bring down the ethanol content closer to E70.
as soon as these cars makes more power...thats the haldex doing it's thing and distributing power to the wheels and the dyno obviously picking it up. nice content 👍🏻
I had weird problems with my car that were very similar fuel systems gets maxed out here very easily I would go e40 tops on this platform without the 4.0tt injectors and upgraded hpfp
I logged all the runs. The fueling was totally fine and the lambda looked great. These results had nothing to due with a lack of fuel. Running E70-E75 on these cars with a stock turbo is perfectly fine.
From what I have seen and heard, you got cut off early before the real gains of the full E85 tune took affect. Those last few thousand RPM’s are where the xtra power is at on the E85 tune
I'd have to agree with you that we missed a few hp up top, but I didn't want to make excuses. Hopefully next time I'm on the dyno we can get it to work better.
Boy that extra E85 tune low end torque is really gonna help your track launch. Can't wait to see how the 60ft times hopefully drop. With that odd top end graph on E70, does the stock B9 have any big air intake restriction like the RS3 does? Maybe turbo can't get the air it wants?
We figured we would have seen that on the logs if that was the case. We think it had something to do with the AWD system not being happy on the dyno, but we aren't 100% sure yet.
I love the content. My question, is why does the torque drop off so dramatically after peak? Reminds me of a 1.8t where you'd make 20psi at 2500rpm then it would taper as the RPMs increase to like 10psi, it looks like this is doing the same thing and it looks like a diesel. Is it a limitation of the stock turbo or cooling? Genuinely curious
I'm assuming the size of the turbo as well as the horrible cooling I have right now with the OEM parts. I expect my curve to look a little better with better cooling and better airflow.
Im sitting at E59 and still run into issues. Do you have any knowledge with 034? Some people here in my area have said they don’t run into issues with their tune…
100% depends on what you're looking for. Pass emissions and have a muffled wastegate rattle then go with Uni. Want it loud and as much flow as you can get regardless of not being able to pass emissions then Iroz.

One member of our club had the same situation and later on we found out that the b9 comes with a dyno mode, without dyno mode the abs goes crazy.
I tried dyno mode previously but was told that it only worked up until 50mph. I'll try it again the next time I'm dyno testing. Thanks.
Awesome! I love the IE tunes. Glad to see your gains are pretty much in line with what I saw with my S5.
Any issues dyno testing your S5 at those power levels?
@@VancityAudi not yet, but I haven’t tested stage 3 yet. Hope to do that next week.
Just bought my IE stage 1 tune, this is great info. Thanks!
You're welcome and congrats!

Nope. According to our logs the car was working as intended and suffered no fueling issues, and yes the car has been amazing thus far!
B9 s4 stock fuel system has no issues what so ever on e85 fuel. Fuel pump handles it fine.
Great numbers Adam!
Thanks!
Once again thanks for the video. Some good info
You're welcome
Hey Adam. Congrats on 10k! I love the S4 videos but when do you think we will see an update video on the RS3?
Ugh, I know right!!! It's been 4 months! I'm hoping to provide you all updates and new videos on the mods we've done in the coming weeks!
Adam , its so cool to know that our S4s can run E85 without doing fuel pumps and injectors 🔥😎 .
Very handy for sure.
@@VancityAudi so can i just tune my car for e85? And then put e85 in my tank like that???

Crazy torque numbers from just a tune! Love it! This thing is going to be a monster when you start bolting things on;)

Keep it up with the amazing content!🙌🏻
Will do!

Lol. Sorry to inform you but these cars don't use a haldex unit.

you need to get an upgraded intercooler installed

Yup! When your E content is too high, that may happen. I always keep my E content around E60- E65 to prevent that from happening as much as I can.

Not sure yet. Plan is to push the stock turbo as far as I can.

Stage 1 E85 1/4 performance mile testing!
Adam why a s4 and not a rs4 has the s4 more Potential?? 😁
There is no such thing as an RS4 in North America.
What was your hp on rse and a stage 1 plus e85 tune
That tune never existed back when I was Stage 1+ in my RS3. All they had available was a 93 tune.
Hey Adam! Random question but would you recommend an Iroz or a Unitronic downpipe/midpipe for a ‘19 RS3 going stage 2?
