Such a helpful video--thank you, Lady Mary Beth! I appreciate that you promote the wonderful combination of beauty in the home, hospitality, and frugality.
Love this segment!! I was surprised to see a centerpiece like this from you as it’s different from what you normally display, but it works amazingly!! And I love how you appeal to everyone’s tastes and preferences in your videos! So many great ideas!! 💙💙💙💙
I love watching your videos. All your creativity and beautiful table settings really inspire me. I really enjoy learning from you about Waterford crystal, and everything else you talk about. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
You are so clever and I love all of the tips you give. Soo helpful! I enjoy watching all of your videos. I recently found some I didn't know about! Enjoying so much! 🤗
I love table scales. There fun to do and say a lot about your style and also.how important your guest are. Your video today was very helpful and beautiful ❤️.
This past year has shown that we can benefit from more gracious living. Thank you Lady Mary Beth for these tips and suggestions how to elevate a table. Off to shop my home and dress up my dining room! Cheers from Florida!
What a lovely presentation!! A couple of questions came to my mind as I watched. .when not set for a meal, how do you leave the table decorated? My formal dining is at my entrance, so everyone who enters the house sees it almost first and I'd like to make the best impression. .Also, how do you keep the cat off the table? I've seen your kitty in other videos and it got me wondering. .it seems my dining table is my cat's favorite place to spend the day and I find myself having to change the cloth before setting the table for every meal.
There is always that ONE cat that commands the table. 😹 I find that Ginger only gets on the table when I am in the dining room setting up. The other cats are better about it.
Wish I had all the storage solutions. Seasonal dishes can be stored under a bed or in the attic. Since these come out once a year, makes sense to not take up valuable space. Rotating is key with various collections.
Hi Lady Marybeth you are so right about 18 ten stainless.I cannot afford 25 thousand of sterling.I hate silver plateaus it's not forever so I use Reed and Barton Towle and Wallace 18 tens.My table looks fine with those .Your table setting is so beautifull. The blue is delightfull
This is very interesting, and helpful, Lady Mary Beth. Thank you for sharing this. I love your accent pieces, and how they complement each other -- such as, the glass "twisty" balls at either end of the runner, and the natural elements in your centrepiece. Your dark dress with the lace trim is lovely, and what a bargain at $25. I am not sure if my monitor is entirely accurate. It looks to be a very dark navy blue; or, is it black? And your magic trick at 0:19 is such fun. Samantha could not have done better! 👏
Love the Bewitched reference! One of my favorite series growing up. The dress is navy with gold/cream lace. Had been eyeing a similar Lilly Pulitzer, but could not pay $350. This one fits as if it were tailored for me. Lucky find.
@@LadyMaryBeth Yes, your beautiful blue dress was a lucky find. It is very elegant and it has a classic style. The lace really adds to it, as well. It would be lovely for an evening dinner party. Bewitched was one of my faves, too, especially Endora, how she would swoop in and out. Loved her exotic makeup and dramatic flair.
I have a round table since downsizing & I've been finding it a little more challenging to dress up w/o it looking & being over crowded. Any suggestions?! Thxs
Round tables are great. Runners, a square overlay, or placemats work well. For a centerpiece, consider a round tray filled with various objects which could include a vase. This keeps your story neat and concise. See my “Style Your Table” segment for more in depth tips.

Hello Lady Mary Beth Very informative video and the table looks wonderful God Bless you Josephine:)
So nice to find someone who is as dish crazy as I am. Any suggestions as to where to store more. I am stating to feel like I live in a China store.

I think this is a beautiful and FUN table! It’s not stuffy, but has a sense of elegance!🥰

It's really confusing for brides with these stainless numbers. Choosing quality means that you have for a lifetime and often for the next generation.

And the tumbler holds a REALLY BIG Hiball.
Yes, it is a highball. It’s the only “regular” clear glass we have. 😉
Mary Beth, can you advise me about the polish that you use to clean the silverware behind you on the bureau? Thank you.
I use Hagerty’s silver spray and polishing gloves. Super easy! The Container Store sells or you can order online.
Lady MaryBeth the crystal ice tea glasses in the Inro are they gorham or'waterford?
Got the tall clear glasses at an estate sale. Not Waterford or Gorham, but a good quality.
💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thanks!
What is the brand name of the spoon?
Villeroy & Boch stainless flatware in the Septfontaines/Kreuzband pattern.

My dear Grandmother said to never put a fork on top of a napkin unless on a picnic on a windy day.
I agree with your Grandmother! Not a fan of placing flatware on a napkin. Ideal for the drab table.
