I arrived here at level 32 with both, in proud mode and complete the game at level 37. I had to finish it fast because I had the console for a limited time ):
I love how Critical Drive (from Days) is a remix of Deep Drive (from KHII) , and Deep Drop is a remix of Critical Drive. TWTNW's battle music just keeps evolving, and for the better!
Deep Drive: Final Form (KHII) Critical Drive: Badass Endgame Roxas (Days) Deep Drop: Falling into the deepest clutches of sleep (3D) okay i'm done being weird now
All of these songs come from the common leitmotif known as "Organization XIII", also known as "Another Side". A LOT of songs throughout the series follow this leitmotif.
Even after having played Kingdom Hearts III I still think this might be my favourite of the non-boss battle themes in the Kingdom Hearts franchise (though Edge of Existence is up there at the top too). It represents the frantic desperation and utter horror of the plot that happens in the endgame of KH3D.
"Another side" was the song from KH1's secret ending with Roxas fighting heartless and stuff. Parts of this were used for Organization XIII, 13th dilemma, and perhaps a few other Organization XIII related things, but not that many. They made a more battle version for BBS. Its the same as them using "Fate of the Unknown" in Terra and Aqua's themes, and a few other battle themes.
Not that many? Graceful Assassin, 13th Struggle, Xigbar's theme, this, Sacred Distance a little, Fantasia alla marcia, Showdown at HB? That's quite a bit.
I managed to glitch out Riku in that world... He got locked into something like a combo and couldn't leave it, even after all nightmares were slain. He was just a miserable mess going "Hiyaaah." "Yaaaah!" for a minute straight until I decided to see if I could drop and thankfully that resetted him and he was freed from the endless combo.
Honestly I wish the soundtrack had more intense sounding music like this. Well I'm not saying I completely hate the other soundtracks. Some are just too cheerful and happy for my taste. I like intense and sinister sounding music more.
I was way to weak when j got to this world. It was actually hard, I was surprised by the difficulty. I came here with riku lv40 and Sora was 37. Did I mentioned Riku part of the mission is way longer and way way harder?
+ChaosNeoNetwork yeah haha, me too xD the trick is having the right dream eaters with hp boost/def boost abilities and defender/second chance/once more/leaf bracer, etc
I had Sora come here at level 40 and Riku level 43 and their levels weren't enough, so I ended up grinding Riku to 60 and Sora to 58 to beat the bosses. lol XD
Riku does have more final world bosses, including one of the toughest bosses in the franchise with Sacred Ansem (the one where Ansem has merged with the Guardian and is in the corridor arena).
Favorite world in the entire game. The battle music is amazing and the dream eaters are an actual challenge. Took me a whole day to get to the boss cuz the nightmares kept killing me at every corner.
That starting area as Riku... you had so many fights before you get to a new room that saves your progress after dying. Before that... have fun starting all over again.
7 years late but considering the leitmotif you're thinking of is Ruins which released 2 years before DDD I'd say this is just a coincidence. Aaaaand if you've left the Homestuck and/or Kingdom Hearts fanbases since you made this comment I am very sorry for setting off any possible PTSD.
Actually the original song for the world that never was was called Deep DRIVE. Deep Dive was the secret ending of KH1FM and the song in that video was called Another Side.
Tried to beat anti coat at lvl 32 in proud mode. I always get close but then i run out of time and drop, it's so annoying. I recommend fighting him at lvl 50, its much more enjoyable.
Actually, I think it more resembles Graceful Assassin. Though I don't know why they'd put that in here, since it's Marluxia's battle theme. Maybe it represents the secret trailer Deep Dive where Roxas fights Riku in TWTNW. Marluxia's theme is also mixed in with other themes (like The 13th Struggle) in that trailer. :)
No prob, bob! And yeah, I feel it. Unless you spend a lot of time in certain worlds/copious amounts of time listening to the individual tracks, it can be hard to identify them and where they play.
Woe to any who didn't grind enough before reaching this world.
Oh I grinded plenty, but even then I got torn apart by those Keeba Tiger and Skelter Wilds.
Then I'll correct myself:
Woe to any who go to this world... yeah.
+Yuuya Kizami I didn't have much trouble.. then again.. i been playing kingdom hearts games since they came out. I had tons of practice.
I grinded lots in this world, so I could beat the last remaining bosses. lol

@@Tsukiru How so?
@@FeatherWings78pobably a reference to the drive forms in KH2
The xehanort 13th struggle motif
seriously guys, we need a medley of Critical Drive, Deep Drive and Deep Drop.
yes
There is one!

Is that a thing?
This is an underrated gem. Hope this is in MoM

the sense of urgency in this song puts me in distress, but it's so cool!
It made me panic. XD

1:10 - 1:20 You can hear a bit of Deep Drive from Kingdom Hearts II in this part.
Oh yeah! :D
0:46-0:57 I like too much that piano playing Organization XIII theme
same feels as in 13th dilemma
Dream Drop Distance was such a wonderful game. Every time I listen to this soundtrack I get pulled back into it :)
For this being the final time ever we visit TWTNW, this is a great battle theme to leave out on.
I think this might be my favourite battle theme yet. It's so intense and climactic.

The Critical Drive in this hyped me up.

My Riku was level 34 when I fought Ansem. I don't know how I won.
Favorite world in the entire game. The battle music is amazing and the dream eaters are an actual challenge. Took me a whole day to get to the boss cuz the nightmares kept killing me at every corner.
@Justin Fashanu
Those weren't wolves. They were Keeba Tigers based on smilodons/sabre-toothed tigers but I get what you're saying.
I just realized that this vibe is like “Riku final battle”’s one
Such a badass track!
Man I love how intense and exciting this sounds. :D
Deep drop.More like Deep drop into insanity on critical.(but this song slaps ngl)
I got stuck in this world for a good week level grinding, good memories
That starting area as Riku... you had so many fights before you get to a new room that saves your progress after dying. Before that... have fun starting all over again.
They also used "Another Side" in Marluxia's theme, I forgot about that.
Deep drop is my second favorite final world battle theme of all the franchise, the first one is Edge of existence.
*358/2 Days nostalgia!*
This deeps harder than your father getting Almond milk instead of the Regular Milk
1:43-1:48 Sounds like the little Melody used in many Homestuck songs! :D
Sburban Jungle?

those wolf dream eaters with their illusion attacks. -_- and not to forget about ice-breathing t-rexes.
Bravi Okina's patch final stage theme
Why does this theme remind me of Dark Impetus?
This is My fav
if only this is on smash bros...
The piano and beat in the opening sounds more like the one from Critical Drive I guess?
this goes to fucking hard
Oooh, do I hear 'Organization 13' in this? I wonder why?? I can't wait to play!
1:01 is the best part from it and continuing

Another Side ~ Another Story came first and Graceful Assassin borrowed the motif
But if only i would have that kinda electronic fast beat in the backround.

The World That Never was
I see... not Deep DIVE, but Deep DROP. Clever! XD
For your comment. It implies that you think the song was a remix of Deep Dive when it's called Deep Drive. Forgive me.
also, something drives sora to beat xemnas, possibly revenge, but here is a deep drop to darkness
1:31
yeah but it just completely caught me off guard for some reason this time i died a lot here
I believe you mean to say "Got it memorized?"
One of my favorite battle themes in any kh game, too bad smash only got kh1 music...
Isn't Another Side, Another Story slightly different than Organization XIII? I remember debates that they're different when BbS came out.
Where in the game does this theme play? I can't remember
Benjamin Valenzuela it plays in The World That Never Was as a battle theme
What is the song name when lea (axel) saves sorry and see isa
Kingdom hearts 3 really lacked THIS aspect the other games had.
@@Tsukiru It's the exception tho. KH3's soundtrack just lacked sauce. A lot of the tracks weren't done by Yoko either
No, I implied that the title of this might be a wordplay. That's all.

Yeah... and the reason why you are telling me that is what exactly?
Yeah, so ORG. XIII actually came from Another Side, and not the other way around.
1:08 >>>>>
Hey, what world was this from?
It's the battle theme in The World That Never Was!
Oh, snap! Thanks! I love the Kingdom Hearts series' soundtrack, but I really only recognize specific world tracks from KH2

XD Got it?
hardest kh mom track?
This sounds nothing like Deep Drive... I don't hear any resemblance, am I supposed to?
Deep drop distance 💀
Another side is different but I think he's saying that these songs have the organizations theme in it
was it just me or were the enemies here extremely annoying to take down and also seemed pretty overpowered?
i don't get it. what does.... OOHH!!!
ONE M0:00RE FUCKING TIME! XD
