The potato mine is godly for your set up. How the game works is that it will send you 1 zombie as a starter. It will not send another zombie until you kill that first zombie. So if you find out what lane the first zombie starts you can put a potato mine all the way by the lawnmower. You can easily build 6+ sunflowers before a second zombie even shows up.

Just a tip the ground spike is in fact useles but there is a tactik that says you can put a ground spike in front of a wallnut and its op aslong they try to destoy it they get perma damage just wantet to say love your videos😊
You dont like the chomper? Its one of the best plants in my estimation. Not only does it immediately take out the first zombie , put it behind a wallnut and it takes out any zombie coming close on a regular basis. No being overrun by high health zomies.
7:08 The Potato Mine is best used right at the start of the level, it's essentially an option to block the first zombie for only 25 sun to let you get more utility plants up.
bro put multiple snow peas when one snow pea can forever stall the first in a lane, which is the same with 2 or above snow peas. The only difference to 1 snow pea and 1 peashooter and 2 snow peas is that the 2 snow peas cost 75 sun more, and actually fire slightly slower.

In defense of the spikeweed, my dad and i LOVED using it for defense back when we played pvz together. And theyre good for filling up space in front of your wallnut, i like using them as quick extra damage along with my damage plants. Plus they damage all zombies that step on them at the same time! There's like a sea of brown destruction stabbing into my foes as theyre gunned down one by one :)
Spikeplants are actually very useful, they last longer and are cheaper than the jalapeño, do damage to all zombies as long as they're on top of them and can be placed right at entrance to prevent any ice on your lawn.

This is a really good video! I've played pvz and the other games they made (Pvz2, pvz garden warfare) but I'm not super versed in it so what plants you choose didn't really annoy me as much as it did others in these comments. And you still won the levels so I dunno why people are getting super mad, but to each their own! A thing I really enjoyed though is you correcting yourself with the pronouns. A lot of people probably didn't notice, didn't care, or don't see it as a big deal since it'a video game and zombies (Just my opinion since it seems that happens a lot). PVZ is honestly one of my favorite games, the pool levels are my favorite. The seaweed plant you get is a cool mechanic, you can “save a zombie for later” by seaweeding them. Edit: I’ve never gotten past 4-1, I keep getting my early defense eaten.
